I usually only read one-shots because I don't have time for anything else.
I tend to lean over to oneshots as well... Waiting for updates is killing!
I bet it would be real annoying waiting.
It is! Especially because a lot of writers take really long updating... which I, as a writer myself, understand, but it's still frustrating.
I don't like long update waits either. That's why I'm trying something new with my own fic I'm currently writing. I'm writing the whole fic before I post it, so that way I can set a time period between updates and don't have to worry about writing a chapter before then! :)
That's a good idea, Ashley!
I've seen more people do that! It's definitely a better way to go about it, than to keep your readers waiting.
It seems to be working well so far. The only problem I face now is my time management of the sequel I'm gonna work on once I'm done with the first and post it.
Good luck with that, Ashley!
Well, it's not that bad to keep your readers wait between stories?
Thanks, Jess!
True, but I know how it feels to wait for a sequel/update and not knowing when it'll be posted and I don't really like the feeling and surely others don't either...so, I'm sort of at an impasse with it, |
I honestly have no idea how the fanfic universe works.
No, I get that... But I don't think readers expect sequels at such a fast rate as well!

They should be grateful they're even getting one!
