Based on the tiny amount of info, I don't think John would be the father unless the daughter is pretty young. Do fathers take young daughters on crime sprees? I guess anything can happen in a movie.

According to the parenting books you've got to wait until daughters are 14 to take them on crime sprees. Otherwise it's just irresponsible behaviour.

I think JK could have child as old as 14ish but after that it would be ridiculous. I think MD is rumoured to play the father so maybe JK is a guy they meet along the way.

Now that I could see. I didn't read it well enough. I didn't realize that Matt would be acting in it as well. My fault, I see the words "star in" now.

Yeah, I didn't know Matt was expected to star in it too, so maybe he was just joking about JK? Indiewire made it seem like he'd be the star(JK).

I'm so confused. :/ If MD is supposed to star in it, why are people saying JK is? I really hope there is some clarification at some point.

It makes me think that they might be discussing something business related. They've been seen together three times in the last four days which could be nothing but friendship but it makes me wonder if it's film related.

I thought by 'star in' the reports meant JK was cast in the film not that he was necessarily the main character in the film. Not that he won't be, just that I didn't/don't interpret it to mean that he has be the lead actor.

I just want John to go back to LA to record some freakin' commentary right now.

I thought that too but all the reports are making it seem like he's the star. Not just that he'll be in it. It's big news evidently. That's why I need someone to clarify.

But anyways, all the hanging out definitely seems like they might be talking shop too. I am so excited about JK moving beyond rom-coms. MD better not have been joking!

I find it a bit sad that JK hasn't found/made time to do a commentary since season 3. It doesn't take that much time and he can do it in NYC.

Yeah I was at least expecting a commentary by him for one of Jim's big episodes, like the wedding or promotion or baby being born. Hopefully he'll do more.
