It's going to be weird going back to 30 minute eps.
Can't wait for the ep as always though! __________________

Yep, we're back to just half an hour and it's the last one before sweeps, so it should be interesting

There's not a lot (just a brief Michael line) from The Office in the promo, but I figure it's better than nothing

I loved this episode. A classic Office episode. What a difference from the hour long episodes. I think this show is best when we're left wanting a bit more. I think 30 minutes does work best with an occasional hour long episode here and there.
Loved, loved, loved the cold open. Lots of good stuff there with everyone. Michael's Eddie Murphy Calling Ryan kiddo. Michael to David Wallace: Ryan is being a little bitch again. Ryan: I'm on Michael. Michael: What's up my brother? Jim's a secret Second Lifer. Philly Jim. Poor Dwight..............still in pain. His second second life. I loved Andy telling Dwight about "Oh D". Dwight looked so freaking happy. That was great. And awww..........Angela so does miss him. Michael wanting to be creator of the commercial was no surprise. Had to love it though. Pretty ballsy going for it. But, that's what you gotta love about Miichael. Not surprising corporate ended up going with the cookie cutter version. Loved how Jim played Michael's version at the end. I seriously loved it!!!! And Michael looked so happy. I think I laughed the most seeing Stanley in the orange jumpsuit in the commercial. That was awesome. Much more to say, but this is a start. __________________

As much as I've been bitching about the hour-long episodes, this one felt way too short! Maybe they should just supersize ever ep? LOL!
The "corporate" was really silly, but typical of the kind of local business ads I see on TV, which was pretty cool. I thought it was really cute that everyone got together at the bar to watch the commercial and got really excited for the little part at the end. Jim was so sweet to bring a copy of Michael's ad - which was so cool! It featured almost everyone in really fun ways and I loved watching the reactions as each person saw their little part come up. Pam's animation was supercool too! I was a little surprised to see Dwight using company resources for personal activity so blatantly, but I guess his break up with Angela has damaged his work ethic? Loved that this headphones had a microphone and that his avatar can fly (for no apparent reason!). Jim's avatar (and Pam's mocking of said avatar) totally cracked me up! I feel like there was a lot missing from that storyline - but I guess we'll see it in the deleted scenes? I still find it hard to believe that Andy hasn't been clued in about the Dwight/Angela thing, but I liked their moment at the end with "Oh, D!" I'm so happy to hear that Angela isn't as over Dwight as she'd like him to think Not too much Jim/Pam in this episode, but I kinda liked that. Love that Pam is taking her art really seriously and that Jim is on board with that (for the most part). I loved his talking head after work, with Meredith giving him a ride home. Too funny And it was totally cute to see Jim "waking" Pam with breakfast from a fast food joint. We got to see a little possessive, but proud Jim at the bar with the waiter, which was cool. Still waiting for my Pam "all in" moment, but I have high hopes for next week. |

I really want to see Michael's ad again! That thing was amazing.
Other things I loved were: Andy's forgetting the rest of the Kit Kat jingle. Jim putting his arm around Pam when the waiter started talking about his motorcycle. The gang (esp. Darryl) trying to come up with a song. Oscar's reaction when Michael put him in charge of costumes. Meredith giving Jim a ride home. Andy's "Nailed it!" Kelly's cute reaction when Michael said she could do make up. Creed eating Pam's hashbrown. Stanley in an orange jumpsuit. Period. Jim getting Michael's ad played. FAVORITE part = "Oh D" between Dwight and Andy. How awesome of a scene was that?! __________________

I loved the orange jumpsuit. So surprising and awesome. Just gold!
And yep, he did look proud of himself. The ad better be in the Season 4 DVDs. Loved it! __________________

I just watched the episode and I have to say, everything about it was amazing. The Jim/Pam stuff was adorable even though it wasn't a lot of it.
Oh and Andy trying to figure out that Kit Kat bar commercial the entire episode was amazing as well. Plus the "Oh D" thing between Dwight and Andy just made my day a whole lot better. So many great moments in the episode, it's just hard to name them all! |

Yay for getting to see the episode, Jory!
Stanley did look pretty proud! Everything he did just made it even funnier. Quote:
