Lindsay/Jacobi friendship #1: Because they make a great team!
 

I really love Lindsay/Jacobi's friendship/partnership in the books...he's kinda like an older brother/mentor to Lindsay & and it translated to the tv screen just like I thought/hoped It would. :nod: I really enjoy their scenes. :D

I really love their friendship/partnership. You can tell how much he respects her and cares for her...but he doesn't let her slack off and knows when to call her out. It's a great relationship. :nod:

I love how she can talk to him about things..... and he sometimes hears things he dosen't really want to hear, but he listens anyway, because he's her friend. :nod:

Yup! I mean she has this great relationship with the girls, but I think it's great for her to have an older, familial type of connection. They've probably known each other a LOOONG time...probably longer than she knew any of the girls.

They should do a flashback episode to when Lindsay was first starting on the force .....or better yet ....to when she was with Tom and the killer lip case was tearing apart their marriage. It would be interesting to see how Jacobi was there for her during those hard times..like a big brother I could imagine. :nod:

From the pilot I got the feeling that they do actually know each other for a long time.. They have a great friendship chemistry!
