So bittersweet I'm looking forward to it, but I'm so sad it's the last one
It sounds like a great episode __________________

Bittersweet is just the right word for it... I am so much looking forward to it but will definitely be sad as this is the last filmed episode at this point...

What was that!!! There was no closure to this episode at all. I mean I'm glad becasue I'll definitely be jonesing for more Moonlight. That ending almost seemed like "to be continued" was supposed to flash on the screen. Shannyn, Jason, and Alex were definitely right about leaving us hanging and how we fans would be rabid for more. I really loved how they got the whole cast involved in this episode. The music was spot on!!! iTunes here I come.
Speaking of the cast, they outdid themselves. Though I'm a total MickBeth fan, I have to admit that I enjoyed them being apart most of the episode. Watching Mick's excitement as he got closer to the answers without Beth's help was surprisingly refreshing. I definitely think this episode proved that Moonlight is more than just Mick and Beth avoiding their inevitable hookup. Now that the action and suspense have been turned up several notches, calling Moonlight a guily pleasure minimizes its potential. As for the writing, you can really tell how the writers became more comfortable with the modern-day vampire concept as the episodes progressed. It's a total downer knowing that the strike broke the flow. One can only hope that since the Director's have reached an agreement with the Studios that the writers will feel compelled to follow. I can't wait to read everyone else's thoughts!!! I really hope you guys enjoyed the Mortal Cure as much as I did!!! |

EP 12 The Mortal Cure
It ws a good show ! I liked that coraline was back and we find out she is from
"Royal" french bloodline and we meet her brother who is really powerful. And we also find out just how much Coraline loves mick! she didnt have "permission" to turn him, and she could have got away at end but she couldnt let mick die. also this whole urge of her looking to be human was I think for mick, to patch things up with him, so that is what got her brother after her to begin with. I know most people are mick/beth fans , and I am too but coraline is appealing and I hope if show gets a 2nd season, which I think it will, that coraline is in it . I think beth came to terms with josh death in this one and with the way she looked at mick at the end she is still drawn to mick. shame ther couldnt have been 1 more show so we could see some more of mick as 'human" that would have been interesting. It was good to see him eat a bunch of food! It would have been funny to have him take beth out to eat and he eat s alot really fast. Also would like to find out more about coralines family which I heard was only 1 of several really "ancient" bloodlines that they planned on introducing. the show did ok in ratings , and won the pc award so I am fairly sure it will get a 2nd season this fall, just along time to wait. I made some dvd's of the show [12 eps-4 dvd's] if anyone is interested. colonel52@gmail.com havent done the last one yet , was waiting on this ep. Moonlight is a great show , I enjoyed it more than any other show this season, and I almost didnt watch it , cause it seemed stupid and a "angel " clone" but it was on friday night and I didnt watch anything else on friday so I watched it and at first it was "ok" by ep 3 it was hey this is pretty good , and beth is really something, and by ep 7 it was great. __________________

Alex did a great job... I loved the scene where she was going to use the cure on him, and he showed the doubtless anxiousness to get it done... It was really nice seeing the 'human' side of Mick... and the experience of it... Part of me wished Josef had visited and seen him.... Maybe when new episodes come back Mick will still be human and we'll have interaction b/t them then... Loved this episode... and if we can't have more eps... then this was as good a way to end this season as any.... Loved it... |

Well talk about keeping us hanging. Ohh, there will be more episodes, god only knows when.
They did a good job, Beth dealing with the aftermath of Josh's death. She had to deal with it, and I'm glad they didn't do the typical run to Mick for support kinda thing. She's a strong woman, she sometimes has to figure things out on her own. Which I'm glad she did. But, deep down, we all know Mick is not far from her thoughts. Now that he is human, god only knows what will happen. Again, I think she is taking it slow, not rushing into things. Coraline I actually felt sorry for her this time. Its apparent she does love Mick, in her own demented way. She was trying to right a wrong. A little too late almost. The look on her face when her brother said *KNEEL* Damn good look. Like "Oh *****" The old Kindred show used the same thing about having to ask permission to turn someone. Interesting. Talk about a twist! The bloodline! Didn't see that one coming. If Lance was Coralines brother, they come from the same lineage, same blood line. Mick never commented too much on how decayed Coraline was, like he did with Lance. Only that she was old. I guess her brother was indeed more powerful than her. Damn, I wanted her to kick his butt!! Yeah, well......Wonder where she is going, and what will really happen to her now. I felt for her. Mick pigging out! Can't blame him, though I doubt he'd be able to eat that much after not having food in his stomach for so long. Didn't stop him, did it. Damn I love this show. |

I just saw it! Seriously, talk about leaving us hanging
I really liked it. I even liked Coraline and her scenes with Mick and I usually don't. Loved Josef (he has the best lines ) and loved the McBeth scenes of course I'm really interested in the storyline...it was kinda creepy when Coraline started talking about the French Revolution and the way they killed people, 'cause it makes so much sense so it almost feels like it could be true in real life I need another episode ASAP This show is amazing. __________________
