Is there a holiday you wish we would've seen Jackie and Hyde celebrate as a couple? We saw them together for Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (and Jackie's birthday, which she'd consider a holiday :P). |
I always wanted to see them celebrate Halloween for some reason.

I feel like Jackie would follow the Mean Girls rules of costuming.
"Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total **** and no other girls can say anything about it." But I also feel like she'd try to rope Hyde into doing some sort of couples costume. IDK. I need good fanfic to sway me some way. Side Note: In the years since I was an active poster on here, I got a boyfriend!(It didn't last, I was young and stupid, and he was incredibly pretentious. But, I like to blame it on the stars. Scorpio/Gemini is never a good match) In retrospect, he had a lot of Hyde like qualities, from the bright blue eyes and the sideburns to his witty remarks and (occasionally) dry humor. Sometimes I find myself wondering if because Hyde and Jackie were/still are my relationship goals, this could've had an influence in the fact that I liked him? I'm only realizing it now as I revisit the fandom... |

Truuuue. I could totally see her as Sandy, because she gets to be pretty with a hint of sexual(but not so much flaunted). I mean, we know she fantasizes about being(or being like) Sandy, and the whole end of Grease is about Sandy turning "hot", but what Sandy wears isn't so much sexual as it is flattering.
That said, Sandy. She's totally be Sandy IMO Edit: Wait, what about that time Hyde mentioned that she ties her shirts up into sexy knots to get everyone into six flags for free? I think how willing she is to use her sexuality to her advantage depends on the benefit. Six flags is expensive, but getting into some Halloween club or bar might not be worth it, but it might. Idk. Food for thought. Still think Sandy's a good middle ground, though. |

But that's Hyde-specific. For the most part, Jackie isn't into exploiting her sexuality or flaunting it. That line about Six Flags is more for laughs than characterization purposes, and one can interpret it as OOC for Jackie, considering most everything we've seen her do or heard her say previously during the show. Then again, maybe she felt safe doing that at Six Flags because she knew Hyde would act as her bodyguard if the reactions to her got out of hand. Jackie is a big ****-shamer on the show -- as is the show, in general. Eric, Donna, Fez, Hyde, and Kelso are all guilty of it. But given the many, many judgments Jackie makes about so-called ****s, she wouldn't want to present herself as what she considers "****ty". :shrug: |
I feel like Hyde brought her out of her comfort zone in a way Kelso never could. We see her mature and try a lot of new things during the three seasons she's with him(A lot less in S7, I'm thinking "ewww, grease" and the great egg disaster), but I feel like Season 1 Jackie would've never slept on an army cot.
Jackie also brought Hyde out of his comfort zone, and I think she could totally convince him to do something coupley. What about Charlie and one of his Angels? I mean, we never really see Charlie's face, but still. |
:nod: Hyde and Jackie tended to bring out the best in each other, whereas Jackie and Kelso brought out the worst in each other.
I can't see Hyde going as Charlie (from Charlie's Angels except by wearing a name tag that says, "Charlie". :lol: He just won't dress up. |
