This is very difficult for me. A lot of the newer people here don't realize how long I've actually been modding this board, but it was for 10 years. This board and all it's posters have been here for me in my happiest and darkest times. I was going to send a message to the higher ups and let them know that I was retiring but I came back from helping to take care of my grandmother only to find out that I have been removed from my position. Yes, I was planning on retiring and announcing it on November 1st (oh the irony).

I wanted to make something that was hard and sad for me also uplifting and happy, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'm not going to lie, it definitely feels like a slap in the face. I just wanted to say thank you to all the posters past and present for making me laugh during some of the most difficult moments of my life. I'd like to thank all my former co-mods (especially my lover Ria - hehe) and of course my last and our current co-mod, Lisa for helping me out with the board over the years.

I can't wait to see who will be taking over for me in the next couple of weeks. I highly encourage everyone to take a chance and apply. There are some fantastic people that have posted here on the That '70s Show board. My little board that could.

It's been something that I've been thinking about for a while now. It's been very hard for me to devote the time this board needs and Lisa deserves someone that can actually help her out more than I've been able to. I'm not going to completely disappear though. This board really is special to me. It's been here for me through two very difficult breakups, my dog dying, my grandfathers cancer battle and untimely death, my unemployment and a very real depression. People past and present have been there for me with kind words and encouragement. I will never forget the times that I've spent here.

Thank you, Chris, for being so welcoming to me when I first joined the board. I follow the example of that kindness whenever someone new posts here.

I'm sorry you couldn't leave exactly how you wanted -- but on the bright side, the timing of this worked out since you were planning on stepping down. That's something, at least.

Definitely don't be a stranger. You're a big part of this board's history, and you're absolutely welcome in its present.

Oh, Chris. It will be quite strange not having you around as a mod, i gotta admit, cause during the two and a half years i spent here i got used to seeing you as something constant and inseparable from this place. But i hope you will be with us as much as you can and wish you all the best!

I just had to pop in and wish my lover well. Even if I don't post anymore, it's weird to think of you not being a mod after 10 years.

But I'm glad you came to this board and I was able to meet you. Some really great people have passed through this board that I miss, but you'll always be my favorite.
