Okay, how about if Laurie was pregnant with Fez's child, and Eric was the only one with her when her water breaks -- and there's no time to get her to a hospital. He has to help her give birth. I don't think he'd make it. He'd end up fainting. And if he didn't faint, he'd have nightmares the rest of his life.

After reading this scenario, I just realized that I'd rather have Kelso with me than Eric. You're right. He would not fair well.

Kelso would be able to stand looking at Laurie's nether regions, at least. Just the idea of directing his eyes anywhere below Laurie's belly button would give Eric the dry heaves.

Speaking from experience, when a loved one is in physical dire straits, one stops caring about seeing certain body parts or what might come out of them (

). The main concern is making sure the loved one is okay. So I'd hope Eric's love for Laurie would override any squeamishness he might have. Not sure it would, though.

I would hope it would too, because you are right Lisa. When a loved one is in dire straights you do whatever you can to help them.

Hopefully that would be the case.

If there really was no one else around, I don't think he'd just leave her there alone.

OMG. Laurie's in labor on the sidewalk. Eric says, "See ya!" and walks away.

Nooo.

Eric damn well not go into shock and walk away like he did in "Grandma's Dead". Donna would have to be there with him.
