Thanks for posting that video, Lulu! Seeing all those Jackie/Donna moments together makes me wish even more that they'd gotten a few episodes that really developed their friendship. They had so much time together on-screen and a lot of experiences together. It needed to be deepened a bit.

Colleen, bloopers are so much fun.

I would have loved that too, they needed some more bonding scenes.

So many conversations on the show could've been deepened while also being funny. I would've like to see Donna really stand up for Jackie about Jackie's parental situation -- but in a way where Jackie would feel supported, not belittled.

I always wished Donna was more supportive of Jackie in that situation. Maybe she was in private, but I feel she should have been willing to be there for her more.

Yeah, I wish we would've seen her be more like Eric was in "Hyde Moves In". Eric is really worried about Hyde, makes sure Hyde gets dinner, and is happy relieved when Hyde moves in.

Absolutely, it would've made more sense for them to be closer than they were. They are both capable of depth, so it should've happened eventually.

Donna knew what it was like to have a parent leave too, so she should have been more sympathetic towards Jackie.

Lulu, Colleen, exactly and exactly.

Imagine them going to museum exhibits they would both find interesting but for different reasons (like an historical fashion exhibit). Their differing personalities would come out, but maybe in the end they'd also appreciate something the other does, too.

I would so want to see that! An outing like that would offer so many chances for character and relationship development.

Alas, a scene like that will happen only in fanfic (or the comics if I ever decide to do it). But, yeah, T7S's writers did not stretch their imaginations very far, especially after season 5. Or they didn't have enough imagination to stretch.

How about Jackie and Donna going shopping together and each agreeing to wear what the other person picked out for them? Have no idea why they'd agreed to do that, but it could lead to some humorous results.

That's a sad thought, so I hope they just didn't try very hard even though they could've done better.

Maybe it's part of a bigger game the gang plays, a truth or dare kind of game. I can see it being funny, but I also see a potential for bonding. Maybe one of them picks out an outfit that the other doesn't think they can pull off, but the outfit chooser insists. When they end up pulling it off, it leads to a moment. (This was awkward to write because I couldn't decide who would be in which role. )

That makes me think of Community. I could see some of the characters working really hard on a project and coming up with something super lame but thinking it's great.

I could see that, too.

Maybe they'd both have a similar experience and totally surprise themselves and each other.

Like the project Pierce and Jeff did together for Spanish.
