That's similar to how the character Kramer on Seinfeld wanted to play the fictional version of himself on Jerry (Seinfeld's) sitcom (that show got very meta for one season).

I wonder who Eric and Hyde would want playing them in a movie about their lives.

One would have to think of the actors of their time who would be around the right ages. Hyde and Eric, of course, would choose non-teen actors who they considered cool. And by non-teen, actors probably in their thirties or forties.

Knowing Eric, he'd want someone like Burt Reynolds playing him. Hyde might want Steve McQueen (these are 1970s sensibilities, to keep the characters in-character).

You're welcome. I was just watching the episode when Eric loses or has his money taken from his Candyland box and blamed Hyde when it was his dad that took it, even Red called them best friends.
