She did do a good job playing Edna, I just can't stand her character.

I wonder how uncomfortable Eric was around Edna in school, considering she was the lunch lady. I could see him being sarcastic/snarky with her, and her giving it right back (along with some nasty food).

The show was trying to show just how bad Edna was by associating her with Carrie's mother.

Oh, you know what? I think it was Boston Legal. I don't watch Law & Order: SVU too much, but I watched Boston Legal regularly. I guess because her character was making out with her son (), I assumed it would be an SVU topic. But, yeah. Boston Legal.

She's in a whole story arc, actually. These are the episodes (according to IMDB):

The Verdict (2006)
Whose God Is It Anyway? (2006)
Fine Young Cannibal (2006)
Desperately Seeking Shirley (2006)
New Kids on the Block (2006)

I can see Eric being uncomfortable around her, especially knowing how bad her relationship was with Hyde.

And would you eat her food? After seeing how she "cooks" In "Career Day"? She earned her name "Gross Edna".

I wouldn't touch her food with a ten foot pole and would bring my lunch every day!

The school must not have had very high standards about food; she should have gotten in trouble for 'cooking' like that.

I would've eaten out at The Hub every day.

I doubt Hyde ate his mother's food -- in school or at home. My head!canon is that he taught himself how to cook out of survival. Plus, Edna was probably too drunk to cook or out during dinner time, bar-hopping.

That makes sense why Hyde learned how to cook. I always thought that too.

He would've starved to death otherwise. I'm sure he ate with the Formans sometimes -- and with the Kelsos -- and with the Pinciottis -- but I wonder how often he could pull that off.

I hope Mrs. Forman let him have some leftovers to take home. But I think Kitty invited him over to eat often since I think she had a good idea what kind of mother Edna was.

I'm sure Kitty made Hyde food as much as she could. I wonder when her love for Hyde started. I think Red must've grown fond of him at the same time.

I also wonder if Kitty ever thought of taking Hyde in years ealier -- like maybe the conversation she and Red had in "Hyde Moves In" wasn't the first time they discussed it. Probably not, but it would make for some interesting backstory.

I think that even if Red and Kitty hadn't discussed it, it might have crossed Kitty's mind at some point.

Point Place High's standards had to be low. It was the '70s, though. Cafeteria food in the '80s and early '90s didn't improve much.

Colleen, Kitty must have thought, "Gee, Eric could really use a brother -- and who better than his best friend?" I wonder if Kitty wanted any more kids after Eric -- like a few years after Eric -- but Red said no? Or maybe Kitty went to nursing school.

I know, right?

From what I saw on the show, it seems like Red wouldn't have wanted any kids after Eric (if he even wanted Eric ).

I don't think Red wanted kids after Eric, but I have a feeling he would if Kitty wanted them.
