Seasons 1-4 Kitty and Red, I definitely agree -- and that's the Kitty and Red I consider canon. But with cranky, miserable-being-married Red of later S5, S6-S7?

No wonder Kitty was so devastated at Eric's impending departure.

I like to think as seasons 1-4 Red being the cannon Red too. I am hoping he resurfaces again down the line that we didn't see.

Aw thank you Lisa. Just wrote a new one today that was really random but kinda fun too

And I’m glad you want me to do it! Think it could be a lot of fun and most importantly fix the mess that the writers turned Red and Kitty into.

And yes season 1-4 is my canon RK too. I’ll watch the later episodes and even get idea for stories from them but when I write those stories I keep in mind RK from the early seasons.

LOL yeah Lisa, I know about you and country music but I’m glad that the title gets the message across!

Colleen, it really is great when you hear a song and right away are reminded of a certain couple

And I too would like to think that Red (and Kitty) from season 1-4 resurfaced as the years went on…either that or just pretend some of that not so Red things didn’t happen. I’m good at being in denial lol

So true.

R/K's relationship became so wonky during S5 and just kept getting worse. But I love them during seasons 1-4. They really come across as one unit, despite any misunderstandings they may have from time to time.

They were the best during those seasons and I actually thought of them as a good relationship example to follow. They had their disagreements and not so great times, but they always pulled through together.

Me, too. Love and trust is what clearly binds them together during S1-S4, and they're still hot for each other 20+ years later.

He was so traumatized by seeing his parents doing it (and I don't blame him). But it's nice to know Red calls out his wife's name...

Season 6 Red makes no sense.

That is great for a married couple that has been together for a long time. They were so much in love with each other still.
