--- Those ’70s Comics: 784 Inspired by episode 510 - "The Crunge" --- Comments: Carrying through the joke of comic!Kitty’s misunderstanding of what the SATs are. One of my favorite bits is the image of Red holding that big poster of Eric and his line in the seventh panel. --- Star Vector Brush Set PS7 --- Quote:

--- Those ’70s Comics: 785 Inspired by episode 510 - “The Crunge” --- Comments: I filled in some details about Kelso’s SAT scores and brought back (to a small degree) his original math prodigy characterization. I also explained what Hyde meant by not “applying himself”. I’d already planned a mini-sequel to “The Crunge,” so specific details instead of vague statements were necessary (and more interesting, imo, since they tell us more about the characters). __________________

--- Those ’70s Comics: 786 Inspired by episode 510 - “The Crunge” --- Comments: Comic!Kitty’s idea of the SATs is so ridiculous and still gives me a laugh. I enjoyed drawing the flashback panel with Kelso’s hand glued to his face. Nnote the bottle of glue on the basement floor. It’s Elmer’s Glue, which makes Kelso’s “accomplishment” all the more striking. Kelso is also high-school age, not younger (although I think the show intended Red’s comment to be about a pre-teen Kelso). I also enjoyed writing and drawing the panels of Kitty’s idea of what happened during Eric’s SATs. Perimenopausal!Kitty’s mind goes to some interesting places. --- Sparklies Photoshop Brushes from obsidiandawn.com --- Quote:

--- Those ’70s Comics: 787 Inspired by episode 510 - “The Crunge” --- Comments: Today’s comic expands on Eric’s SAT experience. He clearly inherited some of his mom’s cartoonishness -- which was given to Kitty purposely in “That ‘70s Pilot” (1x01) because Debra Jo Rupp played Kitty in Eric’s POV as a cartoonish version of Kitty, including the laugh. But the showrunners liked this interpretation of Kitty so much, including the laugh, that they made it part of who she actually is, not just Eric’s warped, fantasy version of her. --- Complete Tree Brush Pack __________________
