 Do you think Eric and Hyde would've teamed up for things in middle school/junior high like an egg-drop contest or field day?  Or maybe Hyde wouldn't have participated in such things. Orrrr maybe he'd team up with Donna because she's athletic.__________________

 Eric's the only one (at that point) who'd be able to get through to Hyde like that. And Eric's the only one (at that point) Hyde probably would've admitted the truth to. As much as Eric trusted Hyde to protect him, Hyde trusted Eric with his vulnerability. They really do need each other.  __________________

Eric really saved Hyde from himself. I am glad Hyde had him, and vice versa. Hyde was really there for Eric too.
