T7S just needed to do what The Middle did and create a fictional college that was close enough to Point Place that the characters would still be at the Formans' house all the time. That's essentially what the writers did for Kelso after he burned down the Point Place Police Academy. A whole episode was dedicated to him "moving into" a police acadmy farther away. Another episode had Hyde and Fez stay over at that academy for a weekend for a visit ... and yet Kelso was still at the Formans every episode. So ... what's up with that?  __________________

Maybe Eric could've asked Kelso, "So ... what's up with you being here every week? Didn't you just make a big deal about moving into the police academy in another city? Aren't you supposed to be there to learn how to be a cop?"

And yet they wouldn't question whether or not Kelso had quit the police academy. Because they didn't question him, and they should have, considering he rarely ever seemed tot be there.

So many of them were inconsistent. Some wrote great eps for the show and terrible eps. So bizarre.
If Eric had a serious girlfriend in season 4, I wonder if that would make Donna more self-destructive than she already was in that season. I do think that's ripe fanfic territory. __________________
