1. They really do love one another.
2. They took Hyde into the family and treated him like their own son/brother.

Kelso [laughing]: Oh, right.

Red [from the kitchen]: What are you doing down there?

Eric, Hyde, Fez, and Kelso scramble to de-circlefy the basement. After using air spray to cover up the smell, they all sit down with a book.

Red [walking down the basement stairs]: You're reading? What's going on?

Kelso [nervous]: Yes!

Eric: We're in English Honors. We're doing our homework, so if you could ... [Gestures for Red to go back upstairs.]

Red: Kettlehead's in English Honors?

Kelso: I'm a very honorable man, Mr. Forman. And I speak English.

Red [exasperated]: I don't care what the reason is. At least all you're doing is reading [Leaves]

In Hyde and Fez's, maybe. Fez actually was in English Honors, and Hyde read the newspaper all the time, and he had books in his room that were obviously not school books.

Yeah! Fantasy sequences are a staple of T7S, and Fez would totally describe the club to Red.

Fantasy Sequence:

Red and Fez are dressed in formal attire and sitting in the Formans' den, each with a copy of the same romance novel in their hands.

Fez: Did you read the titillating tidbit on page thirty-two?

Red: Yes, it was quite titillating. How about that paragraph on page eight-seven with all the innuendo?

Fez: That was amusing and in your end-o.

Fez and Red laugh.

End Fantasy Sequence

In the Formans' den. Red sitting in the armchair while Fez stands.

Red [embarrassed and furious]: In your end-o? I'm gonna stick my foot in your end-o!

Fez [scared]: It was wordplay! Like in your face but in your end-o instead! Because we were talking about innuendo, and it is a romance novel, and -- and I realize now in your face would've worked, too.

Red: We weren't talking about anything. Your sick mind was -- just get the hell out of here!

Fez: Yes, sir!

Fez runs out of the den, to the kitchen, and downstairs to the basement.
