That's what I originally thought, and I still might think it. But season 7, well into the production and airing of episodes, was originally going to be the final season. That changed at some point in the middle of the season, so the writers had to scramble to edit already-completed scripts (including the finale) to accommodate this fact.

I have a feeling Eric's original T7S ending wasn't going Africa to earn money for college -- at least not alone. He and Donna were going to leave Point Place together on some kind of adventure.

Hyde, as far as reports (from people who used to post here / be affiliated with this message board), who were connected to primary sources on the show) was originally going to propose to Jackie (which is evident in J/H's S7's storyliens and its last episodes. Not hard to see where those were rewritten).

Maybe Kelso would've gone to Chicago to live with Brooke and Betsy.

Fez's original ending is harder to pin down. His parents sent him to America for an education, and I hope he would've gone to college or culinary school.

Would love to see all of the original scripts for S7 and especially for its intended finale

Same. It would be a huge deal (and possibly healing / even more angering) for J/H fans to see proof of Hyde and Jackie's engagement being their endgame.

I want the notes for how they altered the season's trajectory / arcs, too, once S8 was greenlit.

T7S could've gone for a complete twist ending: Red and Kitty get divorced. Kitty and Bob admit their long-hidden love for each other.

Jackie, meanwhile, open a store called Jackie's that sells all kinds of dolls (modeled after Jackie) and unicorn stationary and motivational tapes she recorded herself.

Eric never enters that store for the safety of his mental health.

And, Lisa, don't send the reboot ideas out into the universe

Those ideas up there ... don't think they'd make it into a reboot.

I don't want a reboot, either. People need to come up with new, original shows. And movies.

Eric agrees. Jackie agrees as long as she gets to star in these movies.

Writing them would be too much work for her. But having complete script approval -- plus telling the screenwriter what she wants to do on-screen (what kind of character she wants to play, etc.) -- yeah, that she'd do.

Eric would not attend these movies.

She would want whoever wrote bad reviews fired. As long as her movie took place before the internet and social media, she wouldn't have any chance. And even if social media did exist, unlikely, too.

Maybe she would try to bribe Donna to write her good reviews Although of course Donna would never agree

Donna wouldn't want to compromise her career to assuage Jackie's ego.

Eric might become a movie critic just to write bad reviews of Jackie's performances in "otherwise good films."

Imagine Eric becoming a famous critic based on these initial reviews of Jackie, and Jackie's PR person putting out a statement revealing that Eric has a personal vendetta against Jackie, and it becomes an all-out tabloid war.
