I was finally able to get some sleep.

I have Vertigo and it hit me yesterday. I am going to get a test to see what causes it to start and maybe how to prevent it.

I'm happy you were able to sleep! But I'm not happy you're having vertigo.

Finding out the cause is a must. Vertigo can have so many origins (e.g., tight neck muscles, crystals in the inner ear being out of alignment, medication, etc.) So here's hoping you get an answer with an easy solution.

My Vertigo is caused by a muscle disorder I have, well 1 of them, I have 2 different disorders, both are rare, but the really bad one that took the muscles of my thighs, is extremely rare, less than 100 people have experienced it. I am 1 of the lucky ones.

I had the first disorder in 2002 and then I was struck by a car a year later which caused me to have severe nerve damage in my lower back which affects my legs. I am in a wheelchair and have to shuffle from my chair to my bed and back again on my butt. It has been a hard road, but I have overcome a lot since the accident. Both my parents have passed and I received an Associate's Degree in Special Education Teaching and a Bachelor Degree in Communications. I plan to try and get my Doctorate in Special Education so that I can help any special needs individual learn to communicate.

That sounds like a very difficult road, but I am impressed by the way you've navigated it.

Getting a degree and aspiring to help others is a very noble thing to do.
