After 24 years on FanForum (even back when it was Forum4Fans), over 300.000 posts and a whole lot of fun, it's time to say...


The board thrived for many years, well beyond That '70s Show ending. It became a second home for many people where they could discuss the show they were passionate about. We never would have made it this far without everyone who came by all these years, some stuck around and some left eventually (that's the way it is in life after all).

I want to thank every single person who posted on this board, kept it alive and made it such a special place. I met one of my best friends here, I met a lot of funny and lovely people as well and even though my connection to the show faded over time, my fondness for this board and its people didn't.

Lisa asked me to pass along a few words: "Over the last 13 years I've met many friends and had many interesting discussions around here. It's sad that it is time to shut down, but all good things must come to an end. I will remain part of the That '70s Show fandom, just in other places. Oh wow. I was surprised to see this, but I completely understand the decision being made.

It will be sad to see this board go for me. Even though I don’t post here as often as I used to, I will always appreciate the friendships I made on this board. This board has been there for me during some of the roughest moments of my life. I will look back fondly on the memories of posting here and be happy for the friendships I have made.

Even though i first joined FF in 2011, during the first three years i just occasionally lurked through some boards and posted a little here and there. The place that changed everything was this very board. I watched the show, i found you guys and i got stuck with you for 8,5 years. And i mean "stuck" in the best bloody way possible. Till this day T7S board remains the only one i've enjoyed posting regularly on. I'm grateful for all the fun i had here, all the discussions and games, all the things and events, and, most of all, all the people. Thank you guys for being so amazing, wondeful and friendly persons. Special thank you goes of course to our rocks, Lisa and Lulu, who carried this place on their shoulders for so long and helped it to be the funland kingdom it was. I understand the amount of time, passion and energy it took and simply can't be grateful enough. Kudos to all the mods before you, too: their contribution adds tons to the long run our board had and to the joy that dozens of fans experienced here throughout the decades.
As hard as it is to say goodbye, i'm well aware that life works that way. Nothing lasts forever, especially good things. Come to think of it, they probably have to end in order to always stay just as great as they were in our future memories.
Our own little show that could "aired" for 24 seasons, it's a damn good run if you ask me!

Sad news but understand that enthusiasm for fandoms wanes over time. This board has had a good long run, thanks to the people who have moderated and posted here over the years.

Feel feel to start a thread at the general Television board to continue discussing the show.
