For quite a long time too, and soap actors don't tend to do too well outside of it, from my expierience, so I'm really happy for Michelle.
She had some rather dramatic storylines, thats for sure. |

I'm already loving this show and I've been a fan of Michelle since Eastenders, back when I used to watch it.And then I seen her in Jekyll and loved her even more and I'm so happy she got this part in Bionic Woman.

Whoa. I just found out yesterday that Jamie Sommers is being played by little Zoe from EastEnders. I live in the US, so Zoe is still on the show here (I think we're five years behind?). I looked at some of the Bionic Woman promos a few weeks ago, and I didn't recognize Michelle at all. Now that I know who she is, I can see the resemblance to her younger self, but if I hadn't heard, I never would have guessed. She's grown up quite a bit, hasn't she?

I didn't watch the soap she was on. I'm impressed bv her take in the role of Bionic Woman. She is pretty convincing.

The future is very bright for Michelle I hope NBC is patient enough with Bionic Woman to give her a chance to grow into this role and make it her own.

I definitely agree, Strider. Michelle is going to go far. I think she played Jaime very well. She makes Jaime feel very feminine, yet strong and vulnerable. It's great. I'm starting to warm up to the character.
Oh yeah, I watched Michelle on the View too. She does seem like a down-to-earth sort of girl. Hehe, her accent is very cute haha. I'm amazed at how well she is able to mask it. Whenever i tell people she's a brit, they get shocked, lol! that must mean she's doing something right! Haha. Michelle deserves more love here! |

I saw her in Eastenders years and years ago when she must have only been about 18, its funny to see her starring in a big network US show I must say anyway...
I think she's very good in the lead role, a lot of people say they just don't think she is suited to it but in my opinion she brings relate-ability to the character that other actresses may not be able to. NBC will hopefully give the show and her time to settle and I think they will find it pays off *fingers crossed* |
