Yeah, I think 1x07 when Chuck walks in is my favorite. BUSTED! And Chuck's smile makes it better. He was kinda happy/amused. I fully started shipping them during the writer's strike. 1x12 really did it for me. I can't really explain why. But during Lily and Serena's talk, when S asked her not to run away with Rufus...Serena was pretty much saying, say no to both and be our mother. It wasn't a "you have two options" deal. It was..pick US, your children! That's what Serena was saying. But Lily still choose Bart. She didn't have to. So I believe she loved him (in whatever way Lily is capable of love). Thanks, Netti. Exactly. When LR meet up, she's already seeing Bart. And Rufus asks about her love life and she gets all avoidy. And LB are talking in 1x02 about taking it to the next level. In 1x06, Lily took Rufus to Eleanor's party to make Bart jealous. That was completely explicit.
