i can't believe i'm saying this, but i think i actually prefer this arc over the 4x07 - 4x10 one now looking back, it really was such a hugeass hang in there and didn't really amount to anything.. this one seems more, idk, serious? like, of course they'll pull some contrived sht in the 2nd half like in S4, but idk.. at least now they're dealing with the actual issues CB have, like chuck growing, trust between them, etc..

Steals Iszy not here as need sleep but I agree. I loved some of the moments that those episodes gave but it was a huge hang in there with no real substance this time it is more serious with actual issues being dealt. So while I completely expect contrived stuff in the second half at least these episodes have them actually taking steps forward (fingers crossed they or at least Chuck doesn't regress either at all or too much ).
