Oh yeah. You can't pull the crap they did with each other and stay friends, but you can with your sister.

I find it fitting that they ended the series sisters-in-law.

Me too. I think rewatching from the beginning helps a lot. It puts a lot of the characters in perspective.

I liked a lot of their fights in the early seasons because you could see where both of them were coming from- it wasn't like one was clearly in the wrong, it was more the underlying issues between them bubbling to the surface.

The one at Yale, definitely, the one in 1x03, and the one where they were trapped in the elevator, haha.

In later seasons it started to feel like they were either 1) fighting for reasons that didn't make any sense or 2) rehashing the same stuff over and over again.

Exactly! And it certainly wasn't about who loved each other more.

Nate should know these two can fight about anything. They are sisters, after all.

Those outtakes are great.

Natie? Book fan I am guessing. The only explaination for why they were still in each others lives is the sister thing. Sisters can do anything to each other and still love one another.

Yes, exactly. Sisters can get away with way more thank friends can, which is why Blair and Serena could continue to be friends after all the boys and the drama.

Love Blair and Serena's friendship. And hey, they actually did end up actual sisters, after years of being family/sisters to each other.

And man, I loved their hugs. So great
