Great photos!

I forgot that Maia Campbell (Mariah Murphy) was on "In the House" starring LL Cool J. She got arrested last month. https://www.nydailynews.com/snyde/ny...244-story.html

Oh my goodness, I remembered her in the sitcom In The House with LL Cool J and Alfonso Ribeiro (who played Carlton in Fresh Prince). I used to watch this back in the 90s and it went on for a few seasons.
For some reason I used to think she was in Hanging With Mr Cooper but i think i got it mixed up - anyway they were all good sitcoms back in the 90s. Sad she got arrested - thanks for the link Rachel

You're welcome. I did watch In the House but I don't remember much from it.

I don't remember much of it either but I know I've watched this back in the day because I'm a fan of LL Cool J's music and it was during this period when he was doing In The House, he had his monstrous hit "Doin' It" - my national anthem

I remembered singing the song In The House when the show came on every time, and I actually enjoyed this show. I forgot that Quincy Jones made this show so I guess I can see why Alfonso Ribeiro was on it since Quincy Jones made Fresh Prince and Alfonso was already a legend with his Carlton character and The Carlton Dance (dancing to Tom Jones Its Not Unusual).

Anyway, Maia did come as guest in some programs because I remember her in South Central with Larenz Tate who is known for his role in Menace II Society. And I'm pretty sure that she came in Moesha - the program that singer Brandy starred in. And I remember her in a role in the film Poetic Justice featuring 2Pac and Janet Jackson. And I'm pretty sure she featured in some music videos from R&B singers Joe and Tyrese. And the girl can sing too. It's a shame that she didn't have a long successful career - the girl is talented. I did hear about her mental issues and being on drugs as well

Thanks Mike for letting us know. I've heard of South Central but never seen it. Wow, she was in Poetic Justice? I had no idea. I did watch Moesha. Sad to hear about her issues.

She had a small part in Poetic Justice. I was never a fan of Moesha even though I love Brandy's music

I watched Moesha early on and I got interested after a few seasons. I do remember Fredro Starr having a recurring part playing Moesha's boyfriend.

Onyx were a good hip hop group back in the 90s - Fredro was the main man in the group. Do you remember their song Slam? I do recall Fredro playing the boyfriend on Moesha. I loved a lot of African-American sitcoms like A Different World, Fresh Prince, Family Matters, My Wife and Kids, Hanging With Mr Cooper, Martin, South Central, Cosby Show, In The House, The Jeffersons and more but Moesha was one of my least favorite

I just thought about the fact of how weird it is that the actress who played Mrs Teasley (the Principal) was the same actress who played a teacher in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the shows were filmed at the EXACT SAME SCHOOL!

It is Torrance High School. I used to live not far from there and seen it many times. It is located on the South side of LA not far from the Beach House which is located on Hermosa Beach. In fact, many locations used on the show are not in Beverly Hills
