Yes. Kelly and Donna look perfect, Brenda looked great in the episode itself but her face is a bit weird here, and Andrea - why didn't she just get a floral dress like everyone else? She looked good in the dresses. But noooo, they had to give her a skirt, shirt and a freakin' VEST. Not good. And this haircut makes her look like she could be their aunt. Ugh.

Wardrobe people were really not fair to Gabby/Andrea.

I mean, why did they cover her up so much compared to the other three? Did they think she was fat? Well she was not, but even if she was - so what?

Yeah, her wardrobe wasn't the best. I can probably count on both hands her outfits that I liked.

Andrea wasn't suppose to be glammed up, so I get it. She didn't have a lot of money.

I think her wardrobe improved for the college years, especially the second half of season 5 after she went blonde. And they dressed her very well during all her returns in season 6-10.

In that one pic she's not wearing a floral dress, but she wore a few of them during season 4.

It was not just the lack of money, but the question of style. In this particular scene she would have looked much better without the vest, and it would be less money without it The thing is that some of the combinations of clothes pieces they were making for her were simply no go. it applied to the other girls, but more to her. Sometimes I really think they were trying to make her look less attractive than the other girls on purpose.

They definitely were. Andrea wasn't suppose to be the obviously pretty one. That was part of the dna of her character. The reveal in "Perfect Mom" was suppose to be a BIG DEAL, like you never really were suppose to notice that the nerd in the glasses really was very pretty.

They really didn't start backing away from that until season 4. And by season 5, as Gabby changed her look so she could book more work outside of the show, they dropped it all together.

That's a good point. I'm not sure if that was because she was older than everyone else. I don't want to be mean but maybe she had some wrinkles or something that they couldn't cover up with makeup? I dunno. Sorry for assuming like that. But I've seen photos of Gabrielle wearing dresses outside of work and she looked great. So I really don't know why. Or maybe it was her choice? I think she might've been pregnant at the time.

I wonder if anyone on set made Gabriella uncomfortable about her age. If so, I don't think it was any of the costars. Otherwise, she might've left sooner.

Can we please remember that Gabrielle was the oldest, but she wasn't old. I mean she and Ian are only three years apart, and it's possible she was still 28 when they shot the pilot. "wrinkles" aren't an issue. I mean Luke Perry's forehead was full of lines and nobody cared.

Andrea played the nerd girl who is suppose to be undercover pretty. It's a common trope. It has nothing to do with Gabrielle.

And none of this makes much sense because they put her in tighter/younger clothing the older she got.
