I missed their friendship after Brandon left :(

Steve - "This is really tough. I can't believe you're really going, Brandon."
Brandon - "I'll take that as high praise."

I think it was from Ian's wedding.

BlackWhiteRose 09-07-2016 01:54 AM

Could be.

heyitsrachel 09-08-2016 09:01 PM

If so, I think it's from his 2nd wedding.

That was a sad scene

heyitsrachel 09-09-2016 08:06 PM

I wish Steve could've been more sad.

Yeah, it was definitely from the wedding, the second one.

I rewatched Senior Poll and I love their interaction before Steve shoots that big shot. Brandon was very cute jumping into waiting room with him and Jim.

Btw, Brandon did tell Jim about gambling debt, right when Steve left. Jim just hugged him and did not even ask how much he should pay Natt. Did he or Brandon ever give money to him?

heyitsrachel 09-11-2016 04:22 PM

I would think so...but I don't think Brandon's gambling SL wasn't referenced again until S6 when Brandon was getting addicted to gambling again at the After Dark.

I'm sure Brandon did pay Nat back from his paycheck. He was basically working for free going forward. But since he didn't work when he started college, I think Brandon (or Jim) would've need to write him a check.

But was it mentioned he worked for free? Wouldn't Jim and Cindy notice that he had no money any more? I thought Nat basically forgave his debt.

HipHopKingMike 09-12-2016 02:17 PM

I'm pretty sure he had to pay off his debt
