Probably not all that weird for a guy to not want his sister dating his bestie, but it clearly showed that either he didn't fully trust Dylan at that point OR he wanted to have him all to himself.

I think he was nervous for his sister because Dylan did have a reputation. Even though him and Dylan were friends at that point, they had not been friends for that long yet. At least my take on it.

Well, I agree with all of this. Dylan's reputation with regard to women was actually justified. After all, Brandon did hear his attitude in The First Time, when Cheryl visited, so of course he was worried about Brenda. I guess he was also worried because Brenda was inexperienced and sensitive, not because he considered Dylan insanely bad, maybe just not a guy with a right attitude.

And yes, I am sure he was jealous too He totally saw Dylan as his acquisition.

I think Brandon was very much worried for his sister. He did not want her to get hurt. I don’t think he saw Dylan as a bad person though.

Their smiles were so ecstatic together in real life I love the Now and Then comparisons because you can see how their friendship got stronger as time passed.

It's so rare to maintain that kind of friendship, especially as they didn't finish the show at the same time.
