This actually happens in real life a lot. The last thing any woman wants is to be the reason two best friends are no longer friends. I completely understand and agree with her choice. I would've done the same exact thing. Especially because guilt will live with you forever. I don't blame her for her choice.

Hm, but their friendship has already been at odds for almost a year, because Kelly hooked up with Brandon. Hadn't she wanted to step between them, she wouldn't have done that at the first place. At that point her explanation of keeping their friendship seemed silly. Had it come earlier, way earlier, I could see the point.

Then also, she did not really refuse to choose between them. She just wanted to make a point. She actually chose Brandon and went to his house to tell that to him next episode. So for me, it was additionally silly.

I totally agree with you Esma on this matter. Kelly did cause these issues in the first place and yeah she did want to continue with Brandon after that. She was the true culprit whether people agree with it or not or think she made the right choice or not - she basically created this mess. Brandon and Dylan friendship was unstable for a year before this happened.
I'm afraid we will have to agree to disagree on the matter, could never leave you, although I do understand what you are saying being a woman yourself
