I wish they started in the early S3, instead of Kelly/Dylan!

Not a fan of this storyline. I remember this storyline ruining my Christmas.

Crystal Clear 12-29-2019 01:41 PM

Agreed, Rachel. The whole tone of season 8 was so weird, too -- like a different show. The fact that the writing staff drastically changed at this point really shows, because they just treat the characters with very little respect for what came earlier in the show. :irked:

Yep same. Plus Brandon basically had next to nothing going on in that season (never liked the thing with Nikki)

Their story on season 8 just was not great. I was not a fan either.

Same here.

Season 8 was the clear point of downfall, I'm glad that's pretty much agreed by all :hippie:

It should have been the best season in a lot of ways. They were finally out of school and getting to live free lives. But then Jason decided to leave and ... Well... :irked:

msstock87 01-02-2020 05:04 PM

It did have potential to be a good season. It’s sad that we did not get that.

heyitsrachel 01-05-2020 09:01 PM

I didn’t like the last 2/3 of the season at all.

msstock87 01-06-2020 07:06 PM

I did not either.

Crystal Clear 01-07-2020 08:26 AM

It's sad that Jason has basically had to acknowledge that a huge reason why the writing for Brandon and Kelly as a couple went downhill in season 8 was because he feels Aaron Spelling was doing it as a revenge tactic for prematurely leaving.

I mean I'm glad he's honest about it, but still, it sucks that Jason feels he has to carry that burden.

Good caps!

"Jennie" trying to convince "Jason" to accept his wife's baby although she wanted to be with him. Darn, they were great on the reboot.

msstock87 01-18-2020 07:43 PM

I need to catch up on the reboot still.
