I watched Saved by the Bell when I was a really little kid. I haven't seen it since then so Valerie is always the first role that comes to mind when Tiffani is mentioned. Plus, Val is one of my favorite characters ever.

I must have two evenly split portions of my mind operating for Tiff because she's only Kelly when watching SBTB and only Val when watching BH90210. But since I was watching SBTB first for many years, I had a difficult time adjusting to seeing her fully in the Valerie role when S5 first came along. It was just such a departure.

I know Kelly Kapowski was a sex symbol and all, but it's still kinda surprising to me that there are photo shoots where she's in a black bra. Like that's not even a bra trying to be something else, it's just a bra.

Yeah, it does fit in with the fashion sense of the time, but it's something that Kelly Kapowski would never do. That's part of the whole intended impression, I'm sure.
