Alicia being offered the part of Brenda has been a rumor going around for many years. Her auditioning for Valerie, however, is confirmed in most trivia sections for the actress. I sometimes get them confused too, but then remember that Alicia's first real stint was as a guest star on "The Wonder Years" in 1992, two years after 90210 premiered. Those Aerosmith videos sure handed her the lead role in the film, "The Crush", just afterwards, and if you've seen that movie it makes sense that she'd be considered for the Valerie role the following year. Also, had she been Brenda, I don't think her and Brandon would be twins (note: very blonde hair, aside from the whole age thing).

Yeah, the Aerosmith videos made her incredibly infamous. I waso only about 4 and 5 when those videos premiered, but I know that she was known as the "Aeorsmith," girl for many years. I mean, she didn't even have to audtion for Clueless. All she had to do was have lunch with Amy Heckerling (director), and she instantly got the part. I get your point on the twins part.

Yeah, I loved Fastlane. Yeah, I think it was Jamie Pressley who she kissed. It had a lot of great guest stars...Tommy Lee, Naomi Campbell, Mischa Barton exc. Too bad it didn't last.
