Kelly Taylor always has an excuse from this show. Protected panda, I'm telling ya.

Dylan is an idiot here, but at least we know he was a skunk, he's not supposed to be "oh, so nice and loyal!"... just stopped from being honest by "objective circumstances". Or "feelings involved".

I think Kelly did feel bad. But she just didn't know what to do in the situation. Dylan didn't show any remorse, in my opinion, until Brenda showed up.

Them starting their relationship by sneaking around provided an atmosphere of distrust that remained through their entire relationship (atleast the Brenda years).

Oh, I definitely think she felt bad. Although I thought her guilty feelings were mostly selfishly screwed up throughout the triangle, I have to give her credit for being the person out of the two who cared most about hurting Brenda. I mean, even if it didn't stop her from making out with Dylan anyway and chosing to be with him, at least her guilty feelings were with her while she was at the hotel with him.

And that's a hell of a lot more than you can say for Dylan who was more focused on clearing and justifying Kelly's guilty concience than even having the slightest bit of Brenda on his mind, but that's pretty typical because in every scene he had in "Back In The High Life Again," he was a supreme assho!e.

Hey I am not on the list :P

Ihated when Dylan said " cause we owe it to you Brenda" oh wait I am sure she really appreciated having her heart stomped on the ground by two people who were suppose "love " her. man that probably felt so good to her. With friends like that, I think Brenda probably would of eaten dirt to having to love those two ever again,

and I dont think Kelly "gulity feelings" lasted long anyways because not long after that she became a self righteous jealous shrew about Brenda anyway.

Its like Brenda said

"You got Dylan, Kelly what more do you want. oh right, you cant have everything that you stole lol

Kelly insisted to tell her so SHE could feel better, not because of Brenda. And why didn't she tell her before if she so wanted to? Dylan told her not to? Oh please. And she had to listen to him? Even if so, when Dylan left town, she could tell Bren. But hse didn't. And remember her from that period, when she reconciled with Brenda, from "Wild Horses" to the choice? Did she seem eaten by guilty? No. Did she mention admitting, even to herself? No. She just enjoyed winning Brenda's friendship again.

Kelly knew the history between Dylan/Brenda. If she really didn't want to hurt Brenda, she should never have had a fling with him in the first place. And what was all that stuff about her having had a crush on him for ages?? As I recall, they never really said two words to each other when the show started, and she had a thing for Brandon throughout the first season. Talk about lack of continuity

In "Higher Education", she says "OMG, what should I do to get a date with Dylan McKay?!" And in "Slumber Party" she says that they flirted a year before Walshes arrived. But since he obviously never asked her for a date (see her quote above) and ignored her invitation for a date, crush obviously wasn't mutual. Simply, he flirted with her like he flirted with pretty much everybody. We all know he was womanizer before he met Brenda, wasn't he? If he had wanted to date Kelly, he would have dated her. But he didn't want.

Exactly.

I had a major crush on a guy in my school years ago. Did I consider him my soulmate? You've got to be joking. So why does this have to apply to Dylan/Kelly? Especially when Dylan was clearly never interested in Kelly (before he even started going out with Brenda) beyond finding her attractive to look at

brendadylan1984 12-27-2007 10:51 AM

When Brenda said, "Kelly, you got Dylan now. What more do you want?,", I was and still am totally on Brenda's side. Brenda only forgave Kelly because Dylan's mother convinced Brenda hate is not a way to live.

~AnastasiaGrey~ 12-27-2007 11:13 PM

Honestly Kelly wasnt really worth the hate anyways, that makes her think she still has power over me, and she doesnt lol

Exactly. Dylan only saw Kelly as any other pretty girl in school he could flirt with once in a while. He never saw her as anything special. And they had known eachother since kindergarten! Yet he showed keen interest in Brenda the moment they met. How is it that it took like over ten years for Dylan to fall in love with Kelly, took less than a year to fall in love with Brenda, yet Kelly is his soulmate?

cartiergurl01 12-30-2007 03:54 AM

Yet another one of the million reasons why Dylan and Kelly were never meant to be together.

Crystal Clear 12-30-2007 09:52 AM

I think the "we were together in another life" scene is one of the dumbest scenes I've ever seen on the show. Seriously.
