Doesn't double negative (title) make positive? So a positive outcome in this ep? I don't know how I came upon that thought

Thnx for the new thread Stjepo

I have no idea! But why would they go with "double" negative? Maybe Rebecca tests both David and William's DNA and the result is neither? I'm the only one finding the possibility of that funny, huh?

It could also refer to Kitty's pregnancy try though... Perhaps both Kitty's pregnancy test and Rebacca's DNA test turn out negative?

Yes, this is going to bother me until I actually see the ep.

that would give a whole new twist to the 'who's the daddy?' question!

Yup that's going to bother me too.. The Kitty pregnancy try could also be negative...

Gosh, I really enjoyed this episode. To be honest the JR storyline was what really kept me hooked onto the screen, but there was cuteness everywhere.

Next week looks amazing though

I'm still kind of reeling from this episode. I really didn't think that they were going to go there. I do have to say that Emily did an amazing job in the scene with David.

Kevin and Scotty were so great tonight. I loved Scotty's hopes for his wedding and Kevin was almost disappointed that he said no.

Kitty and Robert were great, too. His final decisions and reasons were perfect. I'm very much glad to be past all the election stuff for the next four seasons

But very bad Saul tonight . This is not looking good.

A moment of silence for season one if you please. It was gone the moment Rebecca picked up the phone. My heart sank right there. As did my love of this show. Oh, I liked some stuff tonight alright, the whole show hasn't devolved into crap this fast. But there's no way I can ever love this show or ever trust these writers again after this. The worst thing a writer can ever do is lose his or her trust with the audience, and these ones have done it tonight. How can we believe any storyline we get now? How can we ever believe they'll keep things the way they are? They've set a precedent, and it's not the same show anymore. It can't be, as hard as the cast will try and as hard as the writers will try, it can't be the same. They've taken the magic away.

I'm not going to go into my full rant because I know a lot of people here like the Rebecca/Justin idea, and that's fine. I would have tolerated it had they kept Rebecca a Walker. Not now. This is the wrong way to do it. They've taken away all the build they had in season one, all the story they had with Rebecca when she was finally introduced. It is meaningless now. What does that scene where Kitty says "I can't believe how much you look like my father" mean now? What does that scene where Rebecca walks into the Walker house and sees Nora really mean now? If they want to explore Justin and Rebecca, I have no real problem with that, but I do when they rewrite the history of the show and make the only full season they have useless.

I liked Emily's acting, she is saving this for me. I'll tune in and see what they do, but I can't say I'm expecting to tune in much longer. If it's well-written, then I'm sticking around, but thus far, the only thing that's been good in the acting.

Good episode. I always love Nora and Sarah's scenes together, they both didn't want to be alone in their houses.

Not sure what to think about the Justin/Rebecca storyline. I think it's pretty cute that Justin was hoping she wasn't related to him. But why did she lie to him? To stay near the family she has "fallen in love with"? Oh well, we know it'll come out eventually! Then Justin can jump her bones.

I almost wanted Robert to join the campaign just to see him in those suits again.
I hope he and Kitty can have a baby.

I completely agree 'Tos. I couldn't have said it any better. All of the conflict all of the relationships formed with Rebecca are now tainted in my eyes. Even if Justin and Rebecca eventually do get together I'll never be able to look at my favorite character the same way again. He's in love with a woman he believes to be his sister.

I'm not condemning those you who ship Justin/Rebecca. But I invested in their relationship as siblings, a brother and sister who were also best friends. Now after a season or so of them bonding I'm being force fed this garbage storyline that pretty much makes season one moot.

As for the rest of the episode I wasn't as happy with it as I was last week.

It was great to see Scotty and Kevin. I jumped out of my chair when Kevin proposed a domestic partnership with Scotty. Kevin's really come far this season I'm happy to see some growth with his character.

I'm not that excited about this thing they have Nora doing...Now that Issac's gone it seems as though this cancer storyline, although a very good idea and beneficial to families of cancer patients, it seems a little tacked on an just something to keep Nora busy until the writers think of something better over summer hiatus.

I feel bad for Saul...Not because what he did was wrong, but because it turns out although Sarah said no for all the wrong reasons, she was right in the end. I feel as though her character gets away with a lot and Saul never gets to shine. I was hoping just once Saul would get his way but it seems that's to much to ask for. Although this will create some much needed drama within the family that will affect everyone.

Well, here I go. And I hope everyone knows that this is in no way directed at people who may or may not disagree with my POV.

I for one am a Justin/Rebecca fan. As a romantic couple. But, before people start writing this post off as biased I would like to come right out and say that I was probably just as nervous if not more about this SL than people who don't like them. I would rather NOT get a couple I liked then see them get together terribly.

That being said I really enjoyed last night. It isn't like this SL has just popped out of no where. There have been hints even in the first season. I think they did it subtly enough to make it work.

I really like the twist of Rebecca not telling everyone right away. I think it makes the whole thing more interesting to have her handling this all alone. Maybe this isn't the direction that people wanted to see the show go in. But, honestly it ONE SL. It is not the entire show. I don't like Sarah's new SL but it's not ruining the show for me because there are so many other enjoyable parts to watch. I think if people are planning to jump ship because of this it's really sad. As a true B&S fan I'm sticking the show out until it doesn't feel like the Walkers to me anymore. And to me Rebecca was never a true Walker. She was always something special to them but, almost every epsiode they have some inside joke that she isn't in on.

To me this whole thing will only make her relationship with the family stronger. She will no longer be the product of their fathers affair. She'll be the girl they came to love and know. I think this adds a lot of layers to the show. If you can find out you have a half sibling then why can't you find out it was a lie?

As for the little moments that people swear cant be taken back? Well Kittys comment is probably the most telling for me. That one is hard to explain. But, the truth is you can look like someone and not be related. Are there good chance? No. But it could happen. And I would rather them take the chance to explore something different then hold back because of a comment or two.

Some people feel like they were betrayed by the show. I feel the oposite. If the show had ignored the chemistry and possibilities everyone saw (including people who aren't JR fans) then I feel like they would be taking the easy way out. They took a chance and I respect them for that. That's just my opinion.

As far as the new epsiodes go... WOW Emily was amazing last night. She more than proved that she can keep up with these actors. "I fell in love with that family" That line KILLED me. She was so real and raw and in the moment. She will carry this SL and do it beautifully.

I liked the episode... Not as great as last week's, given all the drama, but it was alright.

I'm definitely NOT a fan of the Rebecca development but I think they're doing their best to satisfy the network bosses and still maintain a good show. Emily's acting was pretty great, and looks like the storyline might actually turn out decent. They're not just casually saying "oh, btw, she's not a Walker so we're gonna hook her up with Justin", it's providing some great drama and might actually make the final episodes of the season more interesting. So, there... I'd rather have Rebecca as a Walker but I don't mind this SL as much as I believed I would.

Also, OMG, Kevin's proposal that included DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT. Priceless.

^ First I'd like to say that I respect your opinions and I'm happy to hear that you are at least giving the SL a chance. Even if you end up hating it it's nice to know that it's not being written off with out being shown.

Second I totally agree about the proposal. SUCH a Kevin thing to do! haha!

Well, it was quite a big leap, and I wasn't sure if they were going to handle it properly... I'm still not too keen on J/R and I think it's a bit too early for them to go in that direction already, but both actors and the writers are doing a great job and I'm satisfied with the result so far.

I agree. Like I said I was probably more nervous than people who DON'T like JR. But, so far so good IMO.
