4x21 "Where There's Smoke..." Episode Discussion

More than one member of the Walker family suspects she might be pregnant,
Nora offers to take her aging mother in when it's discovered she has dementia, and Luc gets an exciting delivery in the mail.

NOOOOOOO, MORE BABY STORYLINES.

Er, I mean... enjoy?

I'll ignore that pregnancy part.

More Ida! Very excited about that. Haven't heard of her returning for multiple episodes, so I'm assuming Nora's offer will be rescinded?

And a Luc storyline

I seriously have no idea what they're doing with all the pregnancies... I guess one of them is Sarah, but Kitty & Rebecca have both had miscarriages recently, I hope they're not putting them through another painful pregnancy storyline.

I like that Luc is in the episode description. And it's always fun to see Ida, her first appearance in 1x13 is probably my favorite episode of all time.

I'm assuming Sarah and Kitty. It's way too soon for Rebecca. I bet Scotty and Kevin talking about Michelle makes two of the girls all paranoid and finding symptoms that aren't even there. At least that's what I hope. Please no more real pregnancies.

Ida is always great. I love seeing the roles reversal when Saul and Nora are suddenly someone's children.

Sometimes I really worry about Kitty and the Senator, and this episode has only added to that.

I am excited to have Luc! Love him!!

Congrats to Kevin and Scotty for their little one! They are going to be an interesting pair of parents... I'm kind of excited to see how that goes down.

I didn't see anything of Tommy in this episode! Where did he disappear to?

I really enjoyed the episode!

Everything with Ida was really sad... from Saul's reason he couldn't bring her in, to Ida's outburst at dinner, to her and Nora's last few scenes.

I'm so damn excited for Scotty and Kevin. They're just so happy. This better all work out.

And Luc too! I liked Sarah's story, and I actually think that if we didn't just have a pregnancy story with Rebecca and with K/S I would have wanted her to be pregnant.

I'm pretty bummed about Justin. I'm sure this is a pretty realistic story for a former soldier, but it's not something I want to watch at all.

And Robert... what the heck are you doing. If he hurts Kitty with this

I liked this one a lot. I'm not thrilled Ida has a serious storyline though, I liked her better a s a comic relief. I'm glad Sarah's not pregnant, we were already getting the K/S baby and it'd be silly to go there after trying to cover up Rachel's pregnancy for so long.

And while I liked the closing scenes to Snow Patrol's Open Your Eyes, I really wish they used more recent music. I've noticed this after they used Fix You for Robert's heart attack last season. Someone should really tell their music supervisor it's not 2006 anymore.

I think this is one of the best episodes recently. I really enjoyed it a lot! It had a lot of family stuff and that's when this show is at it's best. I liked all the stuff with Nora/Saul/Ida as well as all the stuff with the couples.

I actually like the idea of Justin thinking about re-enlisting because to be honest the stuff in the earlier seasons involving Justin in the army and his drug problem that was my favorite stuff for Justin. I feel like he hasn't be given a great storyline since then. I don't know if I necessarily want him to go back to Iraq but I hope they continue this storyline for awhile. I liked his conversation with Robert about it in this episode, I always really liked the bond between the two of them.

I really loved the beginning scene between Robert and Kitty and then the phone convo between Sarah, Kitty and Kevin, I love their Walker family phone conversations.

The whole episode was really great! I think the show seems to be getting back to what made it great in the first place, so hopefully that continues. I missed Tommy in this episode though but I'm not going to complain because at least he seems to be sticking around now.

I thought the same thing about the music, S.

Glad Sarah is not pregnant and Luc got his Visa. I don't even care how anti-climactic that reveal was. Or how unrealistic that happened, Luc is here to stay. Seriously, **** the logic.

Justin wants to go back I don't think JR are going to last, if this is his new way of thinking. A shame.

I liked the honest moment we got with Ida talking about Nora, but sadly, I was disappointed with the cliched way they had it come about. Otherwise Ida was a hoot.

I'm glad Michelle is now pregnant. Hopefully, Kevin can tone down the crazy-almost-parent stuff, just a bit. Scotty, don't change...I love you, and your --- I just love HIM!

The Kitty/Robert stuff, I'm both confused and could care less. Seriously, the plot twist - huh? Actually, strike that, I don't care.

I didn't love how Saul once again, decided not to be honest with Ida.
