In the new issue of British GQ Claire mentions she passed on a role in J. Edgar and took the Homeland role instead. They were both offered to her on the same weekend.
I can't imagine her not in Homeland but darn we missed another chance to have them work together. __________________

Homeland is a signature role so I don't blame her. She's phenomenal in that show.
I'm sure another chance will come for them to work together again. ^^ It was the Naomi Watts role.  __________________
