while Vanessa and Josh were in Australia they made an appearance on the show Young Talent Time (which Chucky Klapow is on btw

for reunions!)

^ so glad she met up with Chucky there and went to see the kids he works with...I just thought they had dinner or something

i don't really mean to harp on the cover thing...

its just weird...she has always had 2-3 photshoots including a cover for all of her movies...you can't really compare V to Josh/Dwayne when it comes to magazine covers b/c there are more options that V can cover vs. the men

plus she hasn't covered a magazine in awhile, she needs a cover IMO

with Josh covering Nylon Guys, that makes me wonder if she snagged Nylon

she brought a lot of traffic to Nylon's site for both of her covers for them

plus it will be nice b/c she has always shared Nylon covers in the past...it would be nice for her to finally have her own

That's fine, I understand your qualms. But I don't think it's a reflection on if magazines want her/her saleability. If anything, it's just her team not making more effort.

I'm personally not such a huge fan of Ashley being cast. I've only really seen her on PLL, but what I've seen isn't enough to make me like her. Though given that most of the girls in the movie are young and from big family friendly type fanbases, I guess we should've seen that coming.

I'm a little surprised they went with her though. She might have the lighter hair like Emma does, but I think that if they were going for a certain look, Ashley doesn't exactly have that girl next door look that Emma has. Emma just looks more innocent than I think Ashley does.

The kids talk about liking J2. One girl is like, "Can I have permission to give you a hug?"

V has said before that the magazines are the ones who ask her for the spreads, her team doesn't go to them. Or at least never has before.

the way i read the deadline article is that ashley has been cast in some kind of supporting role and isn't one of the main 4 girls.

I would love to see V on the cover of a mag for Frozen Ground since it's such a controversial piece and means so much to the people of Alaska and women's issues groups.

I think a lot of women oriented mags like Harpers, Elle, WWD etc may want to capitailize on it to make a point about young women and what can happen to them.

Me too. I just want V to have a cover for this movie too.

I kind of just want V to have a magazine cover now b/c it usually comes with a pretty good article/interview with the cover person. V hasn't really had one in over a year. Plus she has made a lot of career changes in the past year that she wasn't able to talk about (b/c she wasn't signed on to yet). Honestly, I wouldn't mind a good article on her career for once.

PS: Nylon is out...Nina from TVD snagged the cover.
