Caroline and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

We have battled on for a very long time with so few posters and we have tried so many ways to promote the board and get new posters but it doesn't seem to have worked.
This board has been a happy place for so many people for so many years and has bought so much joy to our lives.

We hope that some of you may decide to come back on a regular basis.

We could try to keep it going until we see if Powerless gets picked up. The interest in the show could bring some people in. It's a lot of work to keep it up with only 2 and a half regular posters. I count myself as the half.

I think even if it did gets picked up, it wouldn't generate new posters people just don't need forums like this anymore with social media we'd be fighting a losing battle

The network up fronts are usually in May, but there are times a pick up can get leaked early.

I remember that when the board was doing so well it was crazy .. im sorry to read this but i do understand lately her news has been all.on Broadway and shes done well sadly not all fans can see it and enjoy it .

Its such a hard decision to make to be honest you both should be proud on how well.the boards done so far your hard work hasnt gone unnoticed its just now peoples interests have changed and move on which is sad.

I hope you can still keep it open but if you cant i understand moderating a board when no one really posts on is hard

Yeah its been a really hard decision thats taken months to make.
We've been here for so long and remember the good days, but sadly thats just not how it is anymore
