For me it's a tie between Run and Chasing Cars, I simply adore both. :love: I'd say Chasing Cars probably edges it, but only just. I just think everything about it is gorgeous and I get the shivers when I listen to it.

I love Chasing cars to and Somewhere a Clock is ticking. I would say there my top favorites, I can't choose just one. All SP songs are wonderful! I just adore all the lyrics in them songs and have the biggest habit ever by keeping them both on repeats for hours at times and sometimes I don't even realise it...;).

My favourite is definately Run. I can listen to it all the time and never get tired of it.

Chasing Cars is absolutely beautiful. The beginning chords just strike something in me, but I feel like it's getting so played out because now everyone loves it. My one friend, who's been a fan of SP since they started, gets really annoyed at how people only know the one song, and everything.

Personally, I love "The Only Noise." It's a great song to listen to when I'm walking around campus at night, especially if it's snowing. :love:

My favorite SP song is "Open Your Eyes". That song just floors me. It's just so epic and beautiful. Whenever I listen to that song I almost always find myself stopping whatever I'm doing and just focusing on it. It's so captivating.

I LOVE the lines that say, "I want so much to open your eyes, cause I need you to look into mine." :in_love:

Hey all. I would have to say that my favorite SP song has to be "You Could be Happy" I don;t know what it is about that song, but I can listen to it on repeat for hours.

I used to love "Chasing Cars" but its been played soooooo much around here and on everything, that I tend to limit how much I listen to it now. I hate when radio ruins amazing songs by playing them way too much.

Spitting Games...and of course, Run. :)

I love so many SP songs but I would have to say my favorite is Chasing Cars. I first heard in on Grey's Anatomy and immediately looked it up to see who sang it because I loved it.

That's another favourite of mine Delilah. :nod: I especially love the big instrumental section, gives me the shivers. They played it in Er's season 12 finale, 21 Guns, and I think of that episode every time I hear the song. :sigh:

I love that line as well. The lyrics are awesome. :nod: One of my other favorite lines are: "Take my hand, knot your fingers through mine. And we'll walk from this dark room for the last time." :love:


Ooo, it does that to me, too. I just love the way the whole song slowly and steadily builds and then it hits that insturmental section...so powerful! :sigh:

My next favorite song after "Open Your Eyes" is probably "Chasing Cars" Great, great song. I admit though, it is a little over-played on the radio here. One song that kind of caught me off guard with how much I like it is, "Somewhere a Clock is Ticking". I can't even really put my finger on why I like it so much - I just do. :D

Another song that I love for no particular reason is You Could Be Happy, it's just so melancholy and...wonderful. :sigh:
