Must admit that if any other actor would be acting this role, it just would be rubbish, Mary just brings something to the role. I think Mary deserves much better. The things I do to watch Mary

I think some of the online Grey's fans disliked her character a lot, just from what I've seen online in various places.
I thought she did good, it was a thankless part b/c of the position they put her character in. __________________

She plays a difficult part and because of the way she portrays Dr Dixon she is easily disliked. Playing a character with a social disorder and her reaction with the dead girl... I think she rocked again in the episode. __________________

Oh most definatley she rocked with what she was given
. Just I had major problems with the writing thoughout the episode and also wanted to see more of Dixon.Can't understand the fans dislike though, so she is a character with a disorder, what is wrong with that! __________________

But see, I think that's where I had the problem. There is a difference between having a social disorder, and having a heart. I do have a friend that has asperger's syndrome, and they are definitely not like that. Unless there are different levels of it, I'm not entirely sure. If she wants to be akward in social situations that's fine. But c'mon...I was in tears when the girl was crying.
 You don't tell a young girl that her sister can't hear her, can't feel her. And that you need her organs. Give the people some time, man.  On a side note, of course, Mary did do a great job. I hope we continue to see more of her. |

Kara, I was reading on a board that I regularly visit and found that a poster, who writes on a board, has a son (I think) who has this disorder and she said Mary played it perfectly.
I'm sure she did say that there are many different levels of this disorder. __________________
