 Sounds like what I would do

crazy_diamond 10-28-2008 05:36 AM

I'm glad I'm getting double the fun of Mary, once Grey's has finished, BSG will be right around the corner ;)

crash landing 10-28-2008 06:44 AM

Oh GA's will take us up to BSG :yay: perfect

crazy_diamond 10-28-2008 12:41 PM

It is, good on the network for that :D

crash landing 10-28-2008 12:45 PM

Yes :high_five: Different networks, right?

crazy_diamond 10-28-2008 12:46 PM

They are, yes :)

crash landing 10-28-2008 12:48 PM

NBC owns BSG and GA is on ABC  Ok

**SuperGirl** 10-31-2008 07:54 AM

A little more info on her character on GA. :)

Speaking of "Battlestar Galactica," the Sci Fi Channel show doesn't return with its final 11 episodes until Jan. 16, but we won't have to wait that long to see Mary McDonnell again. McDonnell, who plays Laura Roslin on "Battlestar," has a new gig on "Grey's Anatomy," where she'll debut Nov. 13.
Her character is surgeon Virginia Dixon, and she'll appear on "Grey's" three or four times this season, according to the network.
I thought she'd only be on it once, but three or four times? That's great. :)

crash landing 10-31-2008 09:27 AM

3 or 4 times :high_five: Thats amazing

**SuperGirl** 10-31-2008 11:52 AM

Yeah, that's great. Do you watch GA? I didn't get the chance to watch last night's episode yet.

crash landing 10-31-2008 12:04 PM

No :look: but will watch those episodes for her

crazy_diamond 10-31-2008 04:00 PM

:woot: thanks for bringing the info over :D

Can't wait :D

crash landing 10-31-2008 04:12 PM

Can't wait until the 13th  :wiggle:

crazy_diamond 10-31-2008 04:14 PM

neither can I, bring it on :D

Alexander 11-01-2008 04:43 PM

Well, maybe she'll bring some "sense" into Grey's Anatomy:)

I watch the show casually, either live or next day with dl's so it'll be nice to see Mary on it.

crash landing 11-01-2008 05:41 PM

I'll most likely get confused but I'll watch the show for those Mary episodes. Be nice to see her doing something different

crazy_diamond 11-02-2008 05:14 AM

She'll bring class to the show, I've never watched it, so once Mary has left the show, it's back to not watching it again

crash landing 11-02-2008 07:17 AM

Same here :lmao:

chasin' the wind 11-04-2008 07:37 PM

Please add me to the list. :D

crash landing 11-04-2008 07:40 PM

Added :high_five:

So Rebecca, what have you seen MM in and how come you like her so much?

chasin' the wind 11-04-2008 07:48 PM

Hhmm... Let's see. :)

I loved her in Independence Day. Classic movie. Her and Bill Pullman were great as the First Couple. ;)

Mumford was pretty good, at least the scenes with. The movie as a whole wasn't so great. But it helped that her and Ted Danson had scenes together making them the only ones were watching.

Alexander 11-04-2008 09:42 PM

Nothing tops her in Dances with Wolves, what a film! I have the extended 5 and half hour edition. She's brilliant in it...Stand with a Fist:D

As far as her Grey's Anatomy guest starring role, she'll be taking Brooke Smith's place...aka heart specialist Erica Hann (also gay on the show), but Mary's character will not be gay (at least I don't think so, haven't seen anything to indicate that). As a casual fan, I'm excited. Should be a lot of fun, I wouldn't recommend Grey's to anyone here who isn't a regular viewer. Probably won't like it.

 Rebecca, welcome to the thread :D

Loved MM in Independance Day and in Dances With Wolves . So looking forward to seeing Mary in GA, I might just fast forward all the scenes without Mary in it though

chasin' the wind 11-05-2008 05:30 AM

 That's what I do when someone I like guest stars on a show.

 Hey, there!

I  Independence Day. :sigh:

crazy_diamond 11-05-2008 05:31 AM

:high_five:

ID is a great film, wish we had a little more of Mary in it though..
