Mini Series to Season Two Moments





Cally: "Why do the Cylons come every thirty-three minutes? Why isn't it thirty-four, thirty-five..."
Tyrol: (interrupting) "Cally".
Cally: "What?"
Tyrol: "Shut up."

Cally: "Starbuck's notes on the Cylon raider are a mess. She said the engine power-up sequence began by squeezing something that looks like a red ligament with blue veins o�*n the right side coming out of a sack of gooey fluid, shaped like a dog."
Tyrol: "Are you kidding me ? This whole thing is a bunch of veins and ligaments and sacks of goo."
Cally: "Squeeze the ligament with your hand while you slide your weight on your left hip, into the lymphatic sack."
Tyrol: "Well, that's just stupid !"

Cally: "Tarn getting shot... it wasn't your fault. You know that, right, Chief?"

Cally: ..."Talk to me, you motherfracker!"
Tyrol: (snaps back to reality and laughs) "Motherfracker?"

Tyrol: "It looks like a dradis dish. At least, the Cylon version of a dradis dish. It's probably salvaged from the nose cone of the ship. They're building an anti-aircraft battery."
Cally: "Anti-aircraft? For what? There are no otheraircraft around here. "
Tyrol: "The Galactica's gonna send a search and rescue team. When they do, that's at least two raptors doing a low pass over the crash site. When those raptors come looking for us, risking their lives to rescue us..."

Cally: "Chief. I heard that you went to bat for me."
Tyrol: "Forget it."
Cally: "I want you to know--"
Tyrol: "Forget it. I need all the knuckledraggers I can get."

Cally: "There you go, chief."
Tyrol: "Nice to be small, huh? Ship's got more than one engine. Get to it."

Cally: "I forgive you."
Tyrol: "No. Cally. No."

Tyrol: "It was me. I... may have been out of my mind and not know where I was doing or anything, but it was me. "
Cally: "You're in pain. You have been in pain for a really long time. "
Tyrol: "Don't feel sorry for me. "
Cally: "I care about you. I always have. And I always will. "

Cally: (with the baby) "Here we go. Shh. Looks like mommy's gonna get some sleep tonight after all. Sometimes I hate everything about this place. Sometimes it's... it's magic."
Tyrol: "Hmm. I gotta go. I'll be back in a couple hours."
Cally: "One of these days, you're just not gonna come back, are you? You'll just vanish, and that'll be it. I'll never see you again. Nick will never know his father."
Tyrol: "Couple hours. I promise."

(Refugee barracks, Galactica.)
Tyrol: "Hi. Hey, sweetie."
Cally: "Am I on watch?"
Tyrol: "No, no, you're fine. Here. Give him to me. Come here. You come here. Come to daddy. Hey, buddy. There you go. I know, Mommy's much more comfortable than me. Huh? Cally?"
Cally: "Mm-hmm."
Tyrol: "When you were down on their planet, you ran away from the trucks. Did anybody help you? one of the NCP goons or … anybody?"
Cally: "What? No. Wait, yeah. Somebody told me to run. It probably was one of those goons. I haven't thought about it since. Hey, how did you know about that? I mean, why do you ask?"
Tyrol: "No reason. Go back to sleep."
Cally: "Okay."
(She goes back to sleep; he rocks the baby.)

(New Caprica: Main Street)
Tyrol: "You know, I was thinking it's probably better to have the baby on Galactica anyways. You know, there's, uh, sickbay, doctors, medicine."
Cally: "Yeah. No, it'll be better. We'll be happier."
Tyrol: (kissing her) "Yeah."

(Cally affixes charges to the central pillar and approaches Chief.)
Cally: "I miss Nicky. Do you think he's okay?"
Tyrol: "Yes, he's fine. He's on Galactica. He's fine."
Cally: "I hope."
Tyrol: "I hated everything about the faith. The rules, the rituals. The endless discussions at the dinner table. I used to sneak into my mom's prayer room. You know, Holiest of the Holies. I would dance around naked with porn magazines, just to defy the Gods and tell them to frak off. (Cally chuckles.) I mean, I don't even know how I found this place. I just got this urge to start...walking. And then, suddenly, there it is."
Cally: "You should see the look on your face when you're in here. There's this... reverence. You even talk softer."
Tyrol: "I feel something in here. Something true. But here I am setting charges in this special place. Holiest of the holies. This is… The Temple of Five. If my parents could see this. And I'm gonna blow it up."

Cally: "Wait. What about Nicky?"
Tyrol: (flagging) "Admiral's right, we have to prep. Gotta move everything away from here to the door."
Cally: "Galen... we both know what happens to kids in the Fleet when their parents aren't there for them."
Tyrol: "Apollo and Dee. They'd take care of him."
Cally: "No. No pilots. He's not going through this twice. Sir? There's a civilian family, the mother's name is Susan Deckler. She has a little girl. If anything happens to us..."
Adama: (voiceover) I'll see to it.
Tyrol: "I was being selfish. I wanted you with me, like old times. I didn't think about Nick. I'm sorry."
Cally: "Hey. Hey. Admiral's gonna get us out of here, okay? We're gonna take care of Nicky."
Tigh: "More than a few seconds out there, we're talking severe exposure. Decompression sickness. At the very least, hypothermia. They could freeze to death."
Adama: "Make sure Cottle's got his hyperbaric chamber ready."
Cally: "I'm sorry."

Cally: "You're pretending like nothing's changed, that our lives are exactly like they were before we went to New Caprica. But it is different."
Tyrol: "Yeah, we're just goin' through a little rough patch."
Cally: "What if rough patches are all we have left?"

Tyrol: "Cally, I told you last night and I'm telling you again right now. I am not having an affair. I went out for a drink. I ran into Tory. We started talking. Look, I know how it looks, but it's completely innocent. There's nothing to it."
Cally: (ignoring him) "You're gonna have to drop Nicky off. I have a doctor's appointment. Can you tell them not to feed him any of that algae mash? I think he's allergic."
(Chief slams the table, tears in his eyes. Nicky starts to cry.)
Cally: (leaving) "Just remember about the algae."
Tyrol: (calming Nicky) "No, I'm sorry. Daddy's sorry, Daddy's sorry."
