I hope he's loving every minute and gets to have time off if he needs or wants it. I pretty much think work gives Zac a natural high and he's really enjoying this hectic pace. Promo in different countries every day is insane!

Dwayne Johnson Talks 'Baywatch,' Zac Efron and Speedos

Pretty soon you're going to get to watch Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron stuff themselves into a bright red speedo for their big screen reboot of the '90s TV "classic" Baywatch.

ET caught up with the San Andreas star at the D23 Expo over the weekend, where the 43-year-old, 6-foot-five-inch-tall action hero opened up about the upcoming project, and the chance to work with Zac.

"We're excited about it. I've known Zac for some time for years by the way, and this project has been in our wheelhouse and we're very excited to make the movie," Dwayne shared.

So what's in store for fans of the show when Baywatch makes its way onto the big screen?

"The cool thing about this is we want to make a movie that's big, fun, epic, and all the things that you want," Dwayne explained. "We want to make sure that it has edge and badass action and dirty jokes!"

It's starting to sound like Dwayne and Zac might be gearing up to give audiences a Baywatch movie people might go to for something other than tight bikinis and slow-motion running shots -- not that the project won't have those at all.

No release date has been set, but it's likely The Rock's Baywatch could be hitting theaters as early as 2016.

I;m still not complete sold on the Baywatch project but I'm sure Zac will make a great movie.

yeah i don't know how i feel about it yet either.. but he's sure excited about it. hopefully it's better than we think

Zac Efron's totally cool with going shirtless next to The Rock in 'Baywatch'

But before Zac hits the beach, he appears in the DJ drama "We Are Your Friends," in theatres August 28.

"My character is in with this group of friends... but he's sort of just following what they’re doing and he hasn't really found his own path yet," he told Liz.

"And the moment he stops and listens to the world and listens to his heart and follows his own path is when he's really set free. And he does that doing through DJing."

I will watch anything with zac in and him in Baywatch I will definitely watch because he will be great in the movie and come on he will be having his shirt off for pretty much the whole movie so im excited lol.
