I would support Ryan and Zac in a movie too I love Ryan in Crazy Stupid Love especially but all of his movies are good. But I really don't know much about this project and it has been so long since I have really followed or watched Star Wars type stuff I'll just wait and see. None of that sounded very official at all, just speculation and what someone heard

Indie wire has an article about it as well. It was just an audition/meeting for both Zac and Ryan, but I hope they both get cast. I need this to become a reality.

I'm very excited about this (!) ..but also actually slightly worried about the Starwars franchise since Disney bought it up. They totally crashed Jim Henderson's work & legacy which used to be so innovating & different & uplifting when they bought up his estate. . . Not that the latest Starwars series were near as good as the original movies were IMO. Lucas seemed more into marketing than creating solid material for ep. I-III.

I am excited that they would place Zac as a rebel like Solo(?) because of the wit & snark of the original character which really made the originals work so well. Also the combo of him & RG could be very good. -- I guess it's another waiting game.

It's definitely a wait and see game though, especially since it's just meetings, right? That doesn't necessarily have to mean getting the role...

I have to say the more I Think about this I get a bit more apprehensive about the negative aspects of Starwars. -- I just mean this Movie would entail such a massive amount of harsh scrutiny from a fanbase that is NOT the easiest to deal with. I'm talking about ppl that will seriously notice things so miniscule you all wouldn't Believe it. It would be MASSIVE promo & marketing. ..and to be frank this franchise has damaged the careers of some actors. I just don't want him to be caught in something he can't get out of.. I know he'd have fun doing this though -- which I guess is the most important aspect of it. . .

As I've understood it & just very loosely basing this on where Zac is at in his career I would say that they probably called his "team" & requested him specifically or he heard about the project & had his team contact them. Either way it's obvious he's interested & curious about it as well as they are about casting him.
