Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture suggestions or colour ideas, please post them on this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible.

Your suggestions for possible colors and pictures will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customization process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Kasia a PM or ask them on the message board customization thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

Note: It usually takes less than 2 weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic & colours get put up, it will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

And Mel, we have the same idea. Ben Watts or Details (=new hair cut photoshoots) are very very good

I'm not posting much here anymore but my main wish would be for the actual post background to be a light color and the font color to have a good contrast.

I don't have a wish for the actual color (although I wouldn't want "girly" colors like pink, peach, purple, anything pastel etc) but I find the current color scheme a bit tiring for the eyes.

As for the pictures, again, I don't have a specific preference, only that they are recent (ie not the old haircut) and it's not the Nylon Guys shoot from Marvin Scott Jarett. Actually thinking about it, I think the recent photoconference and photocall pics from Charlie St. Cloud would be good like here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (but please no red board with the pressconference pics that's too intense)

OH MY GOD SO EXCITING.

Except for the whole thing where Lexi took FOREVER doing the Troy banner for me and blending it in and I still haven't finished the thread.

But anyway, yesssss!

I agree with Ben Watts & Details being the key two to focus on picking our favourite shots from I do like the CStC photocall and I know it's practically like a photoshoot but I think the Graphics Team prefer to work with the HQ that comes with actual photoshoots.

I'll try to find time to look for some particular images among the shoots that I think are the best to pick from.

As for colour scheme, if this board becomes brown I'll cry Although, there are a few male brown schemed boards and they aren't too bad. Blue could be pretty, as long as it had a point of difference from the Vanessa board. I don't mind boards kinda like Dan Radcliffe's and Bryan Greenberg's where there's a blue background but then where the threads are listed it is lighter; actually the Dan board is one of my favourite male customisations. I wouldn't mind a pastel green scheme if blue isn't acceptable - kinda like the main green of HSM, but not those brighter green bits. I'd agree with the no purple/pink/girly colours but I think that doesn't need to be said, if you look at all the male board customisations the GT are pretty commonsense with that.

TBH im not a fan of Ben Watts as maybe some other options. His skin tone seems off to me idk Details is good...but he looks so serious

I like the photoconference and photocall pics from CSC promo

Only thing I want is that he HAS to be smiling in the photos we pick....or at least in 1 of the shots that is chosen He has contagious smile that shows how charismatic he is

There are some of the Ben Watts shots I think this about but other ones that I love.

Good smiling shots 1 2 3 but I also really love 4 and 5

If we want to bring in blue into the theme a lot of the Christa Renee images - aka the calendar shoot - could work really well too.

oh loving all the ideas!!!!! wow we've had this green for quite awhile. it will be nice to have a change. so for a new layout!

i like the idea of blue (its funny dani, cause i never really considered Vs board blue, but i guess it is )

and yes details, ben watts ('09 or '10) and christa renee are all really good choices.

Hmmm I like #3 one from the Ben Watts you posted. So if we used the shots of that outfit that would be good
