Actually that has always bugged me until what you've just said Shelle ..... makes more sense now, after the spirit guide was happy that Mike had realized what was important in his life before he lost it, everything went back to how it had been previously, and the only ones who knew the truth (even though they couldn't explain it) were Ned, Mike and Scarlett. The kids and principal Jane would have no recollection of young Mike, the latter believing she'd met Ned via his IT programming connections or something ..... and the kids that their parents had sorted out their differences and dad was wanting to play a more active role in their lives now .... well its a theory of sorts ... lol
