It's all in the dialogue and the actors.

For sure. Sorkin always manages to have his dramas be funny and his comedies have a seriousness to them. He also always ends up with an amazing cast.

I was watching a Few Good Men, the other day. It's fantastic.

I really love AFGM and I love that it gave people a really profile into the strength of Aaron's writing. There are some subtle differences in the play, like, for instance Jessep is way younger and totally inappropriate with Joanne when he meets them.

It's a great movie. I haven't seen the play.

So, there's been a lot of praise for the Good Wife across the board, and I've seen a lot of critics saying it's the supporting cast that makes in so great, specifically my boys, Josh and Matt Czuchry.

I have to remember that there are people I like in that show. The synopsis really does nothing for me so I have to think of Josh.

The first look video I saw looked really good. I'm really hoping it does well.

I read the pilot script and it was really good, and everything I'm reading about it is that it's not your typical lawyer show. I think it's hard to get anything about what a show is going to be based on a few sentences worth of synopsis.

Yeah, it is, I will admit that. I'll also say that the synopsis of Glee grabbed me from the start, similar with Flash Forward...you never really do know.

The Flash Forward synopsis sounds interesting but it turns me off at the same time because I'm predicting a Lost-like explodement into obsessive hit Idk. It took me two years to break down and watch Lost after it started.

I haven't read the synopsis for Flash Forward, but Glee is a completely different kind of show. With a lawyer show, it's going to be all about the characters, so synopsis isn't going to give you anything.

I guess...maybe I'll wait until I head something more on it or maybe until something leaks online as these things tend to do.

You never really know what you're going to think of a show until you watch it, and sometimes not until you've watched it a few times. For example, Scrubs is the kind of show that I normally hate but after a while of catching bits with my brother it grew on me and now I find it oddly comforting in it's silliness And the summer before Desperate Housewives debuted I saw some promos and thought it looked like the stupidest show (granted I was only like what 14? and I may not have been totally wrong) and would fall flat on its face. Here we are 5, 6 years later.

That's very true. It took me two years of hearing how great Veronica Mars was to watch it, and it ended up being one of my two favorite shows ever. I watched two seasons in like two weeks.

Hee, and that's me with Lost. I didn't break down until S3 was starting and even then only because an actor I liked was in it that season. But of course I was immediately hooked. I watched S1 in like a week. I got halfway through S2 before RL got in the way :/

All the seasons of VM where given to me by a friend and I chewed through them.
