I love that movie! Will is a great actor. I've loved him since The Fresh-Prince!

I'm dying to watch 'the pursuit of happimess' :sigh:

Yeah, Will is the man ever since The Fresh Prince. How can somebody have such an amazing career, I'm not sure. But there hasn't been a moment where Will Smith hasn't been hot.

I can't wait to see The Pursuit of Happyness either, it's out on March 27th! :)

I watched 'Pursuit' a while ago and Will Smith was............excellent. He was acting the hell out of his role and he was strong and vulnerable at the same time. :eek: It was incredible to see the development of the character and his relationship with his son as things got worse.

Dude... He totally deserved that Academy nom. He truly did!

I just got POH, my Mom watched it, said it was great. I still have yet to watch it!..lol

Sony has snagged a pitch for "Empire," a drama set to reunite the "Ali" pairing of director Michael Mann and star Will Smith.

Written by John Logan, "Empire" will be produced by Smith and James Lassiter's Overbrook Entertainment shingle, along with Mann's Forward Pass.

Variety was unable to learn anything about the "Empire" plot except that Smith will play a "contemporary global media mogul."

Mann is one of the producers on Smith's upcoming superhero drama "John Hancock."

It's unclear when "Empire" will be ready to shoot, since Smith will finish "John Hancock" and move into publicity mode for the December release of "I Am Legend." He's then slated to move on to "Seven Pounds," another repeat pairing, this time with his "Pursuit of Happyness" director Gabriele Muccino.

Mann's last film behind the camera was "Miami Vice," which he also served as producer on "The Kingdom."

i love Will Smith! i actually only saw Hitch for the first time about a week ago :look: and i loved it, he definately is charming :)

Can't believe I missed I Am Legend in theaters. :eek: Can't wait for the DVD.

Oh and going to the movies it's hard these days. It's like a movie premieres, then the very next week the hype dies and on to the next movie, then they're on DVD in like 3 months. There's no time.

It's weird.

It is weird. I remember how long of a wait there used to be. Now it's all pretty quick most of the time.
