Hey Natyfab, yea that shot was from leftovers that a photographer had from the Flaunt shoot. You can see the Flaunt shoot on Erin's site

The photographer said that SS was a great guy and that SS said that they were his favourite pics of himself.

These are from that shoot and one which I'v never seen before.

Those are some pretty special pictures. I will have to check out Erin's site for the shoot. That first one is..........well, not enough words to describe. But he has that look that just melts...man, how can anyone resist that??? I really like those pics of him, and I can see why they are his faves. He looks so comfortable, and radiates sexiness and vulnerability at the same time. And I like the 2nd to last one...he has one sweet smile!
I really like him with long hair...and short hair, and in basically anything. I could even grow to love the beard.

wonk, you're totally awesome! How did you find this pic??? I adore it, simply adore it. And thanks for starting our new thread. You're terrific.

And thanks a million for bringing up my favorite nickname for our guy- it's just perfect. I'm trying to remember where we first heard this expression, was it in someone's blog?

Ladies, I heard from my source in LA (the great Jessica, amateur PI extraordinare!). She went by Scott's house and had this report:

I don't know what to make of that! What on earth could he have gotten into? Maybe it is bird poop- hee. He hasn't used the darn thing in so long and doesn't care one bit about it, so it got all filthy. Those careless members of the opposite sex, I tell you.

Fianlly, mjw11, thanks for that wonderful "Ode to the Beard." It made me laugh so hard, and I needed that after a long day.

If you don't mind, I'd like to repost it on this thread.

ETA: I can't seem to copy and paste the Ode from the last thread. Maybe mjw11 can repost it for us?

And you little minx... you found another gorgeous outtake from the "Flaunt" photoshoot! I love you! Sigh... hopefully someday, we'll have another magazine spread like that one to drool over. It's been way too long.

Speaking of magazines, my (middle) daughter and I just returned from our weekly sojourn to Barnes & Noble where we drink lattes and read magazines (our bonding time!). She showed me "In Touch" magazine and there's a picture of Scott clean-shaven from Coachella (where you can see his sweet smile... those are the magazine's words, not mine!) vs. a picture from the TIFF (where they say he looks more like a mountain man than a leading man.)

Erin, thanks for the update from Jessica (I love Jessica!). I guess he's still in NYC while his Civic continues to deteriorate in his Silverlake driveway. You can see the white stuff in the video on this website too. I have no idea what it is, but that car sure is a piece of crap!

Oh no! It was embarrassing enough posting it the first time! But I'll see if I can copy and paste it.

"Ode to a Beard"

There once was an actor whose name was Scott.
We here at Fan Forum all think he’s really hot.



One morning on the website they call “Wire Image”
Was a new group of pictures with a startling visage!

That can’t be Scott Speedman, he looks much too weird.
What’s that on his face… is it really his beard?



Meanwhile at the TIFF, his fans would stop and stare.
Many were heard comparing him to a big, grizzly bear.



His mum was upset as she showed him the news.
He felt so embarrassed, he looked down at his shoes.

“Aw ma, it’s just a beard!", he said, trying to calm her.
But the Globe & Mail headline read, “Speedman to play Unabomber?”



A few short days later, he flew to New York…
Maybe in the Big Apple he wouldn’t feel like such a dork.

He hopped on the subway and sat next to a nurse.
He noticed she looked frightened as she tightly gripped her purse.



He needed to walk and get a breath of fresh air.
So he and his beard got off at Washington Square.

He walked and he walked, then sat down for a rest.
But a bird landed on him thinking his beard was her nest!

Later on, he met his friend for dinner at Po.
The hostess took one look, and wrapped his dinner “to go”.



“Hey man, it’s just a beard”, he found himself saying.
But here at Fan Forum, we find ourselves praying.

We know it’s for his movie, that big, atrocious beard.
But we’re counting the hours until he gets sheared!

I think this new movie is going to be good. I can handle the beard knowing its for a movie.... which by the way is filming no more than 5 hours away from me. ROADTRIP!!!!!!! If i can justify it to the husband.....

I believe it was mj that found out all the shooting details.... please keep me up on what ever you find so that I possibly can arrange that trip.

Ocitrus, you can see that Erin is trying to remember where we heard Sex on a freakin stick - I think that we named a thread that once and yes Erin it was on someone's blog and we just stole it - mainly because it is such an apt description.

I think, natyfab and ocitrus, you should talk to your hubbies and ask them to go on the road trip with you. Hey, it's not like you are going to do anything you shouldn't. And, they won't want to go but more than happy to send you. (The only thing you have to watch out for is your friends calling you a stalker. )
I could kick myself for the amount of times I have gotten so close but just missed seeing him. I've decided next year at TIFF he has to have a movie. Or, maybe we should all make a road trip to Coachella.



Seriously I immediately took this pic and made it my desktop wallpaper. It makes me melt and I've been analyzing that ever since. Is it because he looks so gentle and relaxed and somehow innocent... oh, and yea, um, freakin' amazingly Beautiful!!!

BTW, I couldn't even get on FF yesterday - it seems to be doing that pretty regularly.
