You'll love TYTT. Jon plays the main character, so you get to see a whole lot of him (literally [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]), and his performance is just wonderful. He was a fine actor. Could say so much without even having to speak. Why is it that talented people like Jon are so often overlooked by people in Hollywood in favour of talentless hacks who end up with a million movie roles under their belts? Sorry for the rant. It just makes me sad that we could have seen so much more of Jon on the big screen in recent years if only someone had have seen his potential. Now he's gone, and after PVS comes out, there'll never be another new Jon movie to see. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

I�m with you on whoever decided to put FID on DVD Jo [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] How long till you get everything? Meanwhile, has anyone here seen Good King Wenceslas? From the few scenes I have of TYTT, I can�t help but agree with you. I also liked that I could see him from when he was younger, also in his character and I am completely with you on how much of a pity it was that he was ignored all this time. I know people tend to just diss those who get that teen idol image going but look at what they missed out on with Jon. That�s the part that saddens me the most about all this� that he had SO much potential and we won�t get to see it anymore. Everyone in Hollywood seems so run-of-the-mill now� and he was ignored? [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

I tried to look up that ADR stuff before and all I could get from it was that they had to do voice overs or record voice overs or something� I�m still confused though. When I saw that, it was cool to see that he had done a lot of different things, but I had no idea what that was [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

Yep, that was the Zeller ep [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] and yes! I love that line� actually, something I think I liked more in the first series as opposed to the second, is that he was still a kid there� he was only supposed to be sixteen after all� it was almost as though the ten year gap you find between the second and third seasons came around before season 2. I liked what we got to see of Lucas, more in the first season than in the second� I could go on longer, but I�ll save you guys for now [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] Oh, but when I say he sounded younger in that ep, his voice got a little higher sounding there, which I thought was kinda funny [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

Man, I just watched that trailer for IT and I reckon I'm gonna freak out when my DVD arrives and I watch it. I've never been really terrified whenever I've watched it before, but just watching that trailer then totally scared the crap out of me for some reason!!

Oh man, I love how Dr Smith is saying stuff to him like, "Careful Lucas, she'll break your heart" when he's drooling all over that computer. Computer geek indeed!!!

It was so cute seeing Brit and Jon acting together, (considering they were friends, and went to the prom together in real life). It's not major romance or anything, there's just one smooch, and she practically lunges herself at him (and frankly, who could blame her?). And I agree that the ending is really sweet, but I won't give it away for anyone who hasn't seen it and doesn't wanna be spoiled. But yeah, that one kiss is all the action poor Lucas got in S3.

Yeah, it seems that Two Came Back is available, but only from Germany. I don't have the spare cash to buy it right now though. I got shipping confirmations for all my recent DVD purchases a couple days after I ordered them. So they're definitely on thier way, it's just a matter of how long they're gonna take to get here!

My dad forgot to tape it for me!!! *sobs* It was actually quite funny, he was really apologetic, he was all, "You wanted it taped for that actor guy who died, didn't you? Maybe that episode will be on again sometime soon. I'm sure it will be." Then he picked up the TV Guide to see if they listed the names of the eps that were gonna be on. I think he thought I was gonna be really mad at him for forgetting or something, bless him. I mean yeah, I was disappointed, but I figure chances are it will be on again sometime, and my brother even suggested searching Kazaa for Aladdin eps, so I may end up doing that. I did warn dad that there's gonna be another Aladdin ep on the 16th that he's gonna hafta tape. Let's see if he remembers this time.

"I don't want a baby face, I want a scar!" That scene with the barman on the train was pretty funny. Lucas is there flashing his ID, trying to prove his age, but the bartender just wasn't buying it.

ETA that I just changed my sig to include the baby face quote. Couldn't resist.

Edited again to add that my Fall Into Darkness DVD just arrived!!!!! *does her happy dance*

I love that bit. For those of you who dunno what we're talkin' about, it's the ep where Ford and Lonnie are on their first date, but they don't want anyone to know. So when Ford runs into Lucas, he tells him he's there with the Ambassador of some country (don't remember which one, think it was somewhere in Africa, maybe). Then later, Lucas runs into Ford and Lonnie together and he kinda smirks, looks at Lonnie and addresses her as, "Miss Ambassador."

Janine, I think pretty much sums it up. There really isn't any need for more words.

I will definitely be watching IT in the middle of the day! I'll probably end up watching it with my hubby, though that's not necessarily a good thing, because he enjoys doing things like waiting until I'm absorbed in a really tense part of a movie and then suddenly reaching out and grabbing me, thus scaring the crap out of me!

I do believe you're right about the time discrepency. If he was 16 in 2018, then he woulda been 20 by 2022 when they disappeared, so when they showed up again 10 years later, he shoulda been 30, not 28. But I guess considering he was the token "teen" on the show, they just bumped his age back a couple of years and hoped no one would notice. Busssssted!

OK, I'll tell ya the end of the ep with Brit. Anyone who doesn't wanna know what happens, don't read the next paragraph....

Basically, the storyline of the ep is that they end up going back in time to the 60s and end up involved with trying to stop the Cuban Missile Crisis. Brit's character is kinda eyeing off Lucas all through the ep, and at the end, when Ford, Lonnie, Tony and Lucas are about to head back to the sQ with their mission completed, Brit's character kisses him. Then she rips this bit off her keychain and gives it to him. Anyway, at the very end, when they're back in their own time, Lucas resquests a couple days off. He goes upworld and tracks down Brit's character, who is by now a little old lady. He shows her the bit from the keychain, and she instantly remembers that he's that boy she kissed on the beach all those years ago and they hug. It's just a really sweet, warm and fuzzy kinda moment.

Yeah, my family are pretty understanding of my obsessions, so if I need 'em to tape something JB related for me they're only more than happy to help, thankfully.

OK, well as if this post wasn't already long enough, I've gotta give my comments on FID, and this will end up being completely spoilerish, so don't say I didn't warn you, and if you don't wanna know, then don't read the rest of my post!

When I started watching it, I almost thought I wasn't gonna enjoy it, basically because in one of the very first scenes, one of the characters is standing on the edge of a bridge, about to jump, and all her friends (including Jon's character, Chad) are begging her "don't do it!" So I'm there thinking that that's just what I need, suicide references when I'm trying to enjoy a JB movie! But, it turns out she was bungee jumping, so I let out a sigh of relief and settled in to enjoy the movie afterall.

The other part that was kinda hard to watch was when Jon's character died. He was hanging onto a rope, which was hanging over a cliff face. He very deliberately lets go of the rope, knowing full well that he's gonna fall to his death. So yeah, that wasn't really pleasant, but thankfully, his character is a murderous bastard who'd killed several of his friends, so it was a bit easier to separate what happened to the character from what happened to Jon. Still was hard to watch though.

I did get a kick out of seeing Marco and Jon in the same movie. Marco's character is one of the ones Jon's character kills though. I was sitting there thinking, "Man, how can you kill Ortiz?!?! You guys were crewmates for crying out loud!!!!"

Jon's pretty creepy in FID. He played his role really well (of course). I'll bet he enjoyed making this movie because a) he got to work with his girlfriend and b) he was into creepy movies and stuff, so he no doubt relished playing a character like Chad.
