This thread is devoted to amazing Australian singer/actress, Delta Goodrem. She stars as Nina Tucker on Australian/UK soap, Neighbours.
The show is on Channel 10 at 6:30pm weekdays in Australia. In the UK it airs at 1:45pm on weekdays and repeats at 5:35pm on BBC1.

Delta kick-started her singing career with two chart-topping hits- "Born To Try" and "Lost Without You". With "Innocent Eyes" and "Not Me, Not I" following suit.

Delta's latest single released after the success of "Not Me, Not I" was "Predictable". It hit #1 just a few short weeks after release. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
Her next single to be released in the UK is "Not Me Not I".

Her debut album, "Innocent Eyes" was released on March 24th and has reached #1, and held position, on the Aria charts after going x6Platinum. It's been atop of the charts for 28 weeks and going... [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Congrats is in order as Delta has become the first artist to have 5 number hit singles from a debut album!
She was nominated for record breaking 10 ARIA awards (for which she won 7). Nominations included Best Female, Best Album, Highest Selling Album and Highest Selling Single (a whopping 3 times!)

Sony also released a Delta DVD titled "Delta", which will include Behind The Scenes, Video Clips and Live Performances. The DVD is set to be released in Australia October 13th, 2003.

Also, TV Hits have commemorated the wonderfullness of Delta by publishing a special edition of the magazine. The "Ultimate Guide to Delta" is a 70-page booklet full if behind the scenes info, exclusive pics, latest goss and interviews of Delta. The magazine costs $9.95 and is in stores now. All proceeds go to Delta's personal Cancer Foundation. So get your hands on a copy before it's too late!

Wow, that's a super price, Ben!

I love Delta's grace and modesty during interviews too. Sometimes you question if celebs are geniune when they come across all sweet and modest, but with Delta - despite her meritable success and celebrity status - is always genuinely humble.

There haven't been many new Delta stuff in Croatia lately, I can't even remember the last time I saw her video on tv.

I haven't been to this thread in a long time (I think I missed the 13th one altogether), as I was very busy with school stuff. Is there any super-important Delta news I should know about?

I really love the designs on the CDs and DVDs, and all the booklets and things. I wish I could make something that looked like that. It's so pretty!

And is that Delta skiing around? She looks pretty good!

Yup, that's her! She loves the snow and it's been said somewhere that she used to go on skiing vacations with her family and skiing is one of her fave sports.

I saw the NMNI single for 99p in HMV today, I would have bought it if I didn't alreayd have it, it was such good value! *g* Tried to convince some friends to buy it but they were having none of it!

I watched the DVD so much over Summer. I'm surprised I haven't worn it out! It's great to put on when there's crap all on TV. I also put it on while I'm doing things around the house - like ironing.

Now that she's done Europe and Canada, I think she'll be heading to the US quite soon. I think her plans are being kept quiet and flexible in case she needs a little more timeout between promo tours. Unlike last time where it was all go, go, go! Once she hits the US we'll hear about it no doubt. Hopefully some US posters on FF will come in here to give us an insider's perspective too.

On thursday, I went and got the "Deluxe Edition" cd for around $20 dollars
They only had 1 left in K-mart so I got it. I'm still fishy about my other cd that when missing
I know my friend come over for a weekend, she lives about 8 hours away from me and she had her Delta goodrem cd too I should text her and ask has she got 2 deltas cds in her car
